"We had an incredible stay at Casa Umbè in Pietrasanta – truly a 10/10 experience. From the start, the hosts Giovanni and Tanja were amazing. They stayed in touch via WhatsApp before and during our stay and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Since taxis are hard to find in the area, they arranged for a friend to pick us up from the train station. "Absolutely unique place, which is hard to find anywhere else. It has everything needed for cooking in the kitchen or bbq’ing on the terrace, and the setting within an old castle complex and in the midst of mountainous nature is just awesome. We had a great time here, even though it was unfortunately very short for us. "

"Pros: Das Haus ist mit so viel Liebe eingerichtet, viele kleine Details die es einem leicht machen sich wie zuhause zu fühlen. Aber das was einem das Gefühl von Familien gibt sind auf jedenfall Giovanni und Cecilia. Wir haben nicht damit gerechnet das es Menschen gibt die so freundlich uns und den Hunden gegenüber sind. Die beiden haben alles getan um uns eine schöne Zeit zu ermöglichen und noch vieles darüber hinaus. Bei Problemen waren sie immer bereit zu helfen und jederzeit für uns da.

"Great house for 4-6 ppl . Very clean . The owner is very friendly, stoppd by for checking in to give us a tour around the house . Location is also good - close to Lucca . Highly recommend it."
