LA CINCIALLEGRA is an ancient rural house expertly restored, developed on 2 floors, with fixtures and furniture made by hand.

On the ground floor there is the kitchen with large fireplace and small wood oven, original terracotta flooring and exposed beams, complete with fridge, TV and washing machine; the bathroom with shower; terrace with pergola, table, barbecue and panoramic view of the Apuan Alps and the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.

On the first floor are the double bedroom and the bedroom with two single beds, with the possibility of adding a cot. The floors are made of wood.

Perfect for those who love silence, nature, tranquility, greenery, good air and water, walks in the mountains, in the woods and by the sea. Proximity to historical, archaeological and natural sites.

Wanting a unique experience

The property was very unique and gave us an incredible experience in a medeval home and we loved the outdoor seating area. It was easy to communicate with the owner.

Amazing experience in a medieval house!

Alberico's house is simply enchanting and so is the hamlet of Ponzanello. You really feel like you're stepping back in time (except you have access to all the modern amenities which is great)! The location is perfect if you have a car, about a hour drive to Cinque Terre, plenty of vineyards and other medieval villages to visit in the surroundings.

This is a very characteristic and charming house. You can feel the effort, love and dedication the owner put in it. The owner is very friendly, and so are the people in this tiny medieval village.The view from the terrace is breathtaking. It is a quite remote place, excellent for those who like silence and nature.

Enchanting

The most beautiful setting, a most beautiful medieval home. We fell in love with everything there down to the very friendly cat who visited regularly. Many hiking trails and hidden places to explore. We have been traveling Europe for a month and this is by far the place I will remember most warmly. Thank you to our gracious host!

This is a remote place to stay, small, quiet, old and charming. It’s really only suitable for a couple maybe with children. The owner was there to meet us. He was thorough in acquainting us with the place and its amenities. We loved it. A real step back in time.

Living in a castle

It is a very special cozy house with 2 storeys and an open fireplace in the kitchen. Great wood furniture. You feel like in a castle. Only problem for my dog- there is a kind of ladder to the storey with the bedroom. Not good for it. Otherwise great big bed! Nice little terrace. Everything there in the kitchen that you need . Very friendly host! Brought firewood and chestnuts, lit the fire for us, roasted the chestnuts. We had nice conversations. Great! Only disadvantage: there is nothing in the village, no shop no restaurant. You have to drive for everything quite a bit. But if you are looking for peace and quietness, it's the ideal place:)))

Absolutely unique place, which is hard to find anywhere else. It has everything needed for cooking in the kitchen or bbq’ing on the terrace, and the setting within an old castle complex and in the midst of mountainous nature is just awesome. We had a great time here, even though it was unfortunately very short for us.

It was a real unusual property, a rustic village house. There is a little known castle ruin a short walk up the hill. Loved the washing machine, fire, cat and the helpful owner. It is hard to find, park at the town crossroads and walk up and right. But the locals will point you to it.

The property photos didn't show the very steep, ladder-like stairs leading to the second floor. This was a safety concern for the older person in our group, who couldn't climb them safely.While the bathroom and bedding were clean, the kitchen was only partially so. The insides of the cabinets were quite dusty and appeared to have been uncleaned for some time. We also found a layer of dust on most shelves and encountered several large spiders and centipedes.Due to these issues, we decided it was best to leave and find alternative accommodation.

This property is a one of a kind. A magical step back in time. The kitchen is the main seating area, no living room, no tv, small patio, comfortable king size bed, uncomfortable single beds. Perfectly peaceful with amazing views. You could easily have a silence retreat there. It is imperative that you make a specific arrangement with the owner to meet you there. There is no phone or internet reception at the top of the mountain and the owner does not speak English. Messages through the HomeAway website that Expedia connects you to is the best way to communicate, but any change of plan is difficult. Road to the top is steep and windy, about 25 minutes from the base, roughly 9 minutes past Fosdinovo castle. You park in a small lot out front with room for roughly a dozen cars, then walk up a slight incline and down to the right into a series of renovated "units". It's #24. If possible, would recommend the owner leave the unit unlock and keys on the table. There is no crime in the area! We loved it and loved Fosdinovo. A special experience.

Wir waren für eine Woche in der Unterkunft und haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Alberico hat es geschafft, den ursprünglichen Charakter dieses tollen Steinhauses zu bewahren. Trotzdem ist es mit allem ausgestattet, was man für den Urlaubsalltag benötigt. Besonders das Bad ist sehr gepflegt. Ein Highlight ist sicherlich die Terrasse, von der man einen beeindruckenden Ausblick auf die bewaldeten Berge des Umlandes hat. Für Menschen, die alte Häuser mögen und die ruhige Atmosphäre der italienischen Bergdörfer wertschätzen ist dieses Haus sehr zu empfehlen.

Expérience surprenante. Très bon accueil. La maison se trouve dans un très vieux village un peu à l'abandon (12 habitants). J'ai cru me retrouver dans la ferme de mes grands parents dans les années 60. Le confort est minimum mais suffisant pour nous. Seul point négatif : la cuisinière et le four sont en mauvais état. Pas de micro ondes. Pas de wifi mais la 5G fonctionne très bien à l'étage et à l'extérieur.L'arrivée se fait à pieds par une ruelle un peu difficile. Le parking est sur la place du village.Bon rapport qualité-prixSi vous voulez une expérience hors du temps n'hésitez pas.

Un village à sauver !

Côté positif : l'emplacement en plein milieu de la campagne, la tranquillité, la vue, le charme du logement lui-même : une maison (et un village) pluri-centenaireCôté négatif : le manque d'entretien du logement (frigo sale, café oublié moisi dans la cafetière électrique, ménage approximatif) , et pas seulement de la faute du propriétaire, même si c'est à lui de contrôler tout ça.La barrière de protection de la cuisine n'est pas du tout "sécure" pour les enfants en bas âge, l'accès au "débarras" (future pièce en devenir) devrait être signaliséeBilan : une semaine de vacances pas complètement relaxante, mais un logement qui mérite d'être mieux géré, d'abord par le propriétaire, ensuite par les voyageurs eux-mêmes, en envisageant un financement participatif des travaux, voire du village lui même qui mérite 100 fois d'être sauvé de l'abandon (que font les autorités du pays?) !!!

Traumhaft gelegen und puristisch eingerichtet!

Hier passt Preis und Leistung. Es ist puristisch eingerichtet, aber alles, was man braucht, ist im Haus vorhanden. Das Haus besticht durch die Lage: Bombastische Aussicht und das mittelalterliche Dorf sind unglaublich! Der Vermieter kam am letzten Abend vorbei und wir haben uns trotz unterschiedlicher Sprachen köstlich amüsiert. Ein sehr freundlicher Mensch und ein tolles, sehr einfaches Haus, so wie man es von einer mittelalterlichen Anlage erwartet.

Proprietario molto cordiale e disponibile. Appartamento work in progress ma tranquillamente attrezzato per soggiorni di uno o più giorni. Zona tranquillissima tipica dei piccoli borghi di montagna. Un po' ostico il parcheggio nelle vicinanze. Utile come zona da appoggio per visitare Fosdinovo e dintorni.

Une maison qui a une âme

Oubliez vos standards de citadins et vivez ce séjour dans cette maison qui a 500 ans, cela rend modeste. Et ce calme, cette nature tout autour, tellement reposant. Ce fut 10 jours de lacher prise, de ballades à pied, beaucoup. Et puis les 5 Terres ne sont pas loin, Pise non plus. Nous avons passé de belles vacances ! , beaucouo

Endroit magique. Il faut un peu de courage pour s’y rendre mais une fois ajuster, c’est très beau. Prendre son café dans les nuages ! Wow! Et l’hôte est très gentil et acceuilant.

La pire location de ma vie et j'ai passé ,70 ans. C'est dire,!!!

Sale, répugnant... Araignées, bestioles diverses, pâtée pour chat séchée dans une assiette cassée dans la cheminée...en passe...pas du tout conforme à la description. C'est vraiment honteux d'oser louer cela. Sinous étions arrivés plus tôt nous serions partis ailleurs... L'une des chambres, si on peut appeler ça une chambre était tellement sale qu'on a du descendre un matelas dans la cuisine par terre et j'ai du y dormir...nous sommes partis ce matin sans prendre de douche, tellement nous avions hâte de fuir.. que
