"We loved everything"

"Gorgeous grounds and pool, decent sized rooms and more modern than the photos look, but the walls are paper thin, you can hear everything your room neighbors say and it was so hot in the room, apparently they don’t turn the AC on until May, so we didn’t sleep well. "

"The room was clean and bed comfortable. The rooms are somewhat modern without charm but I would still recommend. Short walk to the walled city of Lucca and free public parking right in front of the hotel so very convenient. Breakfast was adequate with excellent made to order coffee. Good value 3 stars hotel. "

"Room was run down and the breakfast was included in the past but not now. Staff said that the name change and rebranding was meant to attract business people but there were no working outlets in the room and no usb or other charging outlets apart from one socket in the bathroom. Very inconvenient. The place was much nicer to stay at in the past 15 years but has been let down by its owners sadly. "

"Had a room in the annex/dependance because we were 2 adults/2 children and the space was large and beautiful! Staff, breakfast, daily snacks were well worth the fare! Convenient location and immaculately clean! Great find!"

"This hotel room was great! I loved the features and location great too! There is a cafe though under it and both nights were soooooo loud from 12-3am (maybe beyond). It seemed to be an area for locals to gather after the bar! I’m a deep sleeper and it kept be up so be wary."
