Amazing place to enjoy1

We were a three generation family group of 13 (ages 70+ to 4 months). The home, pool and grounds are spectacular. The home is beautifully decorated and includes attractive art. There was plenty of room for everyone. Maybe because it is so new, maybe because the management really cares: the towels and linens were immaculate, everything felt new; the beds and pillows were great; there was a generous supply of glassware and silverware and dishes. There is plenty of refrigeration space and laundry space. It was easy to reach the property manager if we had an issue. We had a wonderful time!

Great House, but Issues with Hot Tub and Management Company

We selected this property because of the house, but also the hot tub. We elected to pay for the company to heat the hot tub. However, it never got hot. After numerous phone calls, texts and reassurances that a technician would come out, we never saw anyone and the hot tub never was hot. We did get our money back for heating the hot tub, but it was very disappointing.The biggest issue was that you are required to pay a non-refundable damage fee. Why should anyone pay for something tied to damage before the stay even occurs? I have never seen this before.

Great House for a group

We had 8 guys stay at this home and hosted two dinners for a number of our customers. (which we pre-cleared with the management company prior to the rental) The house is great and I would recommend it, but only if you are going to be quiet at all times. We had noise warnings start prior to 9pm. Corn Hole games were the main noise generator and caused us to get fined for too much noise. So as long as you are willing to be quiet by 9-10pm and not use the beautiful outdoors in the evening you should be good. I will likely go back with my golf friends (because we are old and quiet) but if you have a loud group this is not the place for you. Also, I missed the non-heated hot tub bullet so not having heat was very disappointing. It is a great pool and tub so we would have easily booked the heat. You need to do it 5 days in advance.

Not my typical VRBO experience

This home is spacious and beautiful with lots of great outdoor amenities. However, a couple of things stood out to me. First 24 hrs before checkin I got hit with a $99 damage waiver. Although it was disclosed in the description, after going back to search for it, I feel like it should be included with all the other fees and collected upfront. Secondly, the master privacy shades were not working properly and one of the bed frames in another room was broken. I also agree with other reviewers that the kitchen could be better appointed. All in all we enjoyed our stay but I would caution booking properties managed by Goodnight Stay.

Beware hidden fees

This is billed as a luxury rental. The pool and hot tub are featured prominently on the listing. But BEWARE, they want you to pay to heat the hot tub and pool separately ($75 per day, each) AND - the pool and hot tub heat cannot be on at the same time. Furthermore, they want you to plan your heating a week in advance of your stay. This is not luxurious. We travel frequently in VRBO/ABB luxury properties have never been asked to pay to heat a hot tub.

A house that size needs more kitchen equipment and baking pans. It needs a food processor. Also pool heat was an issue though overall house was good. Brandon was extremely helpful to me in planning shopping and restaurants.

Outstanding house, better than expected!

We walked in to this house and were blown away! It's even better than the photos! The house is huge, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for very large groups. The backyard is very large, the kids (and adults) loved the pool and putting green. The laundry room has double stacking washers and dryers, so we kept up with our laundry too (a mom's dream!). The house is located in a really nice area with a lot shopping within 3 miles. We stayed for spring training and drove about 45 minutes to Surprise, AZ. The only thing that was missing from from this house were trash cans in 3 of the bathrooms— an easy fix.

Property is 5 Stars but underdeveloped vacation rental amenities

Overall, I would say this property is phenomenal. Five stars on the actual home itself. It’s beautifully and tastefully appointed with lovely furnishings and comfortable beds and bedrooms that beat any hotel room you’d find in Scottsdale. Pool was huge and backyard is sprawling and gorgeous. The home is spacious and would be great for several families staying together as nearly every room is a master suite and there is a lot of separation between the bedrooms. It felt like we were staying in a resort. All this said, the details in the elements that make a stay in a vacation rental enjoyable we’re missing. This home as a vacation rental taking guests felt underdeveloped in the amenities. For a house this large. With such a beautiful Kitchen, there were a ton of things missing. Very few accessories for cooking were present - simple things I’ve typically found in a well appointed vacation rental Kitchen. Cooking and preparing meals just for five people required some creativity as there were minimal elements with which to prepare meals outside of a few very flimsy/cheap spatulas and pots. I would also encourage the property Management company to step it up more with outfitting this home with more than one dishwasher pod and garbage bag per stay. This home is huge and we found ourselves without dish towels even with which to clean up. We stay in vacation rentals in Scottsdale often and we’ve never seen a home this expensive have such cheap kitchen stuff. We had to use hand towels from the bathroom to wipe down counters. There was also no handbook with instructions on anything. We paid $150 a night to heat the pool/hot tub and has to call the property management company to come turn on the heat for us. Even then it kept Turning off at night and the pool takes a long time to heat. We never got it warm during our stay. I was also very underwhelmed with the property management company this owner uses to manage the property in their communication and attention to detail.
