"This comfortable, well-appointed apartment is within easy walking distance to the cathedral and the historic center of Perigueux. With bedrooms and bathrooms on opposite ends, it would work well for a family or two couples. The apartment is quiet and very secure. We appreciated having a private parking place and direct access to the small park next to the cathedral. The street market in front of the cathedral was a treat. "Stayed for 2 weeks in this lovely apartment- part of a classic French property with a garden and private pool. Although secluded the property is less than 10 minutes drive to Brantome with its many good restaurants and market. Some fine walks in the local area as well. Our hosts, Sandra and Alun, were very helpful about places to visit and great company over a glass or two of wine. We cannot recommend this property or location highly enough."

"Lovely hosts. The property living space is small, but a large bedroom. No garden area with the gite just the owners garden so no sun loungers. Nice place to sit immediately outside the gite though."

"The apartment is absolutely charming and I certainly could have spent more time in magical Périgueux. I would suggest a better cleaning of the stairs leading up to the apartment as well as the entry leading to the stairs so as to remove the “pigeon presence.” Other than that, all was perfect!"
