Horrible experience :(
Where to start… 3 live cockroaches found as soon as we entered the cabin, followed by a stale smell and black mould on the curtains which they tried to hide by turning one of them around the other way. Stains were all over the carpet including what looked like bird poo. The actual campsite itself including amenities has potential, and if you were camping in a tent or caravan you would be okay. However, the cabins I do not recommend whatsoever. They look nothing like the photos online at all.

The lady in the reception office was fantastically helpful and friendly, a real good sort and asset to the park.

Highly recommend if looking for camping location
Excellent value for money. Wonderful views right on river so able to swim at location. Think glamping with fully equipped kitchen shared bathroom. Bed was really comfortable and all clean. Excellent location with lots to do within walking distance. Highly recommend.

The cabin was just right for our family of five. It's affordable and child friendly, we stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the views of the river. Countdown is an easy 10 minute walk (with kids) and the beach is a short stroll. Central to everything we set out to see and do including the waitangi museum, paihia beach, Jimmy's shack, the pier and Haruru falls. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place. The only problem we had was that WiFi was not working properly but otherwise it was great!

3 night stay in cabin. Surrounding views are simply superb, yet such close distance to the Waitangi river also means its very cold and heater in room is of not much help. Water pressure for bathing is a bit small but still acceptable, and wifi cannot be connected in room and can only be used in kitchen. Overall the room is clean and makes a great stay if the weather is not that cold.

Cosy cabin at a good price
This was my fourth stay at the Camp ground and my first with kids. We had a cabin with a beautiful view right on the beach and the facilities were basic but well kept and clean. A great place to stay at a great price!

A lovely, peaceful place to stay!
My husband and I stayed in one of the private cabins for five nights and absolutely loved it. It was peaceful, clean, and cozy, and just a 15 minute walk along the water into Paihia. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean and available when we needed them. The staff were kind and helpful when we needed to use the phone or ask questions. I wish we could have stayed even longer!

stunning outlook from this campground and walk
This has a beautiful view of the sea and also you can walk to the beach in 5 minutes. Also a short walk or drive into downtown. If you like nature and peace but central location this is the spot. I loved it can't wait to return. I booked a cabin and they look directly onto a beautiful estuary. I would not hesitate to book this place as it is natural and it is a safe place.

Fantastic value family accomodation by the water.
A fabulous economy option when staying in Paihia. Very clean, easy to find. Good parking and lovely views. It was very cold the night we were there and the little fan heater was not very efficient in a large room. Very clean shared facilities.

Clean, close to the beach and value for money
We booked a cabin and the facilities were very clean and well serviced. I was really surprised at the standard for a holiday park. Excellent value budget accommodation. I'll be booking again.

Camped one night then stayed in Cabin for 2 more. Communal toilets and showers are almost brand new, well kept. Laundry well equipped. Kitchen very small. Were surprised by how large the Cabins are, comfortable beds and plenty of utensils. Loved the pergola in front of the Cabin 's sliding door. Thank you. Out of the three nights we stayed, noise started up around midnight from the nearby Village on two of the nights. It went on for about 1 hour.

Cabins are in a backpackers - Don't be conned.
We had booked a cabin at the park. The room description is deceptive, after booking you will be told you are in The lodge, which is in fact a backpacker. We were given a windowless room which was completely different from a cabin surrounded by fresh air that we had thought we were booking. Everyone at the lodge had been conned and we found there are only four cabins on the holiday park. SO BE WARNED IF BOOKING A CABIN OR ROOM - IGNORE THE WEB SITE DESCRIPTION - YOU ARE BOOKING INTO A BACKPACKERS AWAY FROM BEACH ON A MAIN ROAD.

A nice quiet waterfront holiday park. No sheets are provided but the facilities were very clean and staff extremely friendly.

Lodge is average but cheap
When we checked in at the waterfront holiday park (the view was good actually at the campground) they directed us to the lodge which is a couple of minutes drive from the holiday park. It was 2 or 3pm but the room was not ready yet. There is no view from the lodge. It was clean but the dining area (outside) was not very nice. I don't want to complain but I will probably choose somewhere else to stay next time. This place is cheap and if you're only sleeping, this should be fine.

파이히아의 중심지와 가까우며 위치가 아주 좋다. 우리는 캐빈을 예약했고, 캠퍼들도 아주 많았다. 숙소는 퀸베드룸과 싱글베드와 2층침대가 있는 2룸이었다. 이불은 별도로 렌트해야하니 덮을 것을 미리 준비하면 좋다. 화장실 및 샤워실은 깨끗했으며, 키친과 세탁실은 중간 정도즘 된다. 전체적으로 휴가지의 느낌을 간직하고 있는 파크이다. 개인적으로 만족했다.

Bardzo sypatyczny camping, domki dobrze wyposażone z odrobiną prywatności, tarasem i ładnym widokiem. Blisko przystani skąd można popłynąć na wycieczki i centrum miasteczka.

생각보다 아주 좋았습니다.. 홀리데이파크라서 사워 취사는 다른곳에 있지만 객실은 생각보다 괜찮았습니다. 다만 조금 부족한건 사워시설하고 화장실이 조금 부족한것 같습니다..

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans cet Holiday Park : bien situé géographiquement.. Accueil sympathique. Equipements collectifs corrects et propres ( BBQ à disposition..). Calme.. 2 observations : - Pas de linge de maison dans les chalets..il faut anticiper cette situation.. - Pensez à faire vos courses avant d'arriver car pas de véritable commerce à proximité. 베이 오브 아일랜드에서 가장 저렴한 숙소입니다. 간단하게 잠만 청하고 싶으신 분들에겐 최고의 장소일듯 합니다. 건물이 2장소로 분리되어 있습니다. 바닷가에 위치한 곳은 새로 지은 캠핑장, 도로변에 위치한 곳은 구건물인 숙소입니다. 숙소는 전형적인 여행자 숙소로써 침대가 있는 객실을 제외하면 화장실, 샤워실, 주방 등을 공용으로 사용하게 되어 있습니다. 매일 낮에 하우스키핑 및 청소를 오기 때문에 대부분의 시설은 낡았음에도 깨끗한 편입니다.
