"The location was the only thing that helps this hotel , walkable distance to the water temple and the streets of Gion, the incline is a bit steep but doable just take your time. The hotel was not very clean, had to do my usual wipe test and got a lot of dirt and stains with my wipes. You have to ask for extra pillows because they give you a baby crib pillow by default. The bathrooms are very small and feel like porta potties because of how detached they feel from the rest of the room. The beds were stiff and were the size of children’s beds which make sense with the pillows provided. Out of the multiple hotels on this trip this one was the weakest of the bunch."
