The six Senses is a truly beautiful hotel with authentic Japanese amenities. The staff were professional, courteous and went out of their way to be of assistance and make our stay enjoyable and memorable.
Such an amazing hotel to enjoy if staying in Kyoto. We genuinely did not want to leave. The property, staff, and amenities were top notch. Can’t wait to return.
It was a luxury hotel but was not stuffy. Outside was deceptive. Hoyel was very pretty inside and the staff were very helpful. I just loved staying there
What a beautiful oasis in the middle of Kyoto! Every single attention to detail was made. Rooms were gorgeous, food was amazing, staff was very helpful and friendly. Easily one of the finest hotels I have stayed in, period.
Only room for improvement was that I wished they had more lunch options, it was merely the dinner menu (and dinner prices) for lunch.
The experience was THE BEST, the service couldn't have been better. Even though we were there for 1 night it was one of the best hotel experiences. The room was so luxurious, clean, and tidy. They also gave us many gifts! The bar was awesome it was the best mood and relaxing. The staff were so polite and helpful every time we needed a taxi they would call them, and they made great interactions with the kids! Thank you six senses.
We had a very comfortable stay at the Six Senses Kyoto. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room and we appreciated the welcome snacks! Great breakfast buffet with lots of interesting choices!

Great! A little long to walk but not bad. Might differentiate from others if there was a car to drop off guests. Awesome GM extremely personable
We have an amazing week in Kyoto. We were so happy that we chose Six Senses among all the hotels available. We love the small boutique hotels and this one is a gem. The architecture and interior design is stunning. Our bedroom was exquisite. We loved the black out shades, the super comfortable bed, and the understated luxury of the decor. Personally, I loved the deep onsen bathtub in our room that I used every night before bed. The breakfast buffet was scrumptious. We looked forward to it every morning. The staff was simply outstanding. They helped us hail taxis, call stores, set up luggage delivery, make reservations. It was a wonderful stay. I highly recommend it.
One of the best experiences we had. They had a beautiful card from the kids club for my little one in our room when we entered our room and they wanted her to go and play with the kids. She loved the club and specially Miss Saki. Miss Saki went above and beyond to make her happy. She even gave her a beautiful card with a nice water bottle the last day we were leaving. My daughter is missing her everyday and she can't wait to go back. The room, the food, room service, communication,...everything was top notch. Thank you so much six senses. We miss you everyday and we can't wait to come back.
We had a wonderful stay at Six Senses Kyoto as a family with young children. Everything was impressive, especially the warm and attentive service from the entire team. The breakfast was excellent, with great quality and a lovely selection. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and very relaxing, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and elegant. It was a truly memorable family stay in Kyoto, and we would love to come back again.
Hotel was perfectly clean and the staff was welcoming. On tbe other hand, guest services and staff knowledge of restaurants and attractions was subpar.
