"It’s one of our favorites ! This time had a few issues. Wasn’t make or break but the lack of care by the front desk staff threw me off a bit. They wouldn’t let us use the fire pit at night. I know it’s hot out, but we were able to go other places in the area and use fire pits at night, it’s relaxing after the sun goes down. One of the things we looked forward to. Ended up not hanging at the bar because of it. We couldn’t get our room to stay cool. It would get so hot I could barely sleep or get ready. Asked housekeeping about it twice and was ignored. It caused my husbands asthma to give him issues so we ended up not booking the extra night we discussed possibly doing. We tried to call one night for help and the phone rang for over 30 minutes first try and then called back and took 15 minutes for someone to at least pick up to help us and answer our question. If you exit pool area to go outside you get locked out. In this heat it was not ok, trying to figure out why they can’t have room key locks that turn off when pool hours are over? Also had about a half inch of water on our balcony and couldn’t stand out there. As wonderful as it is with the views and Amazing pool will probably book elsewhere next time. The room not getting cool enough to function was a huge problem. Just wish the staff was as quick to help as they use to be."

"We really enjoyed our three night stay at the cozy bear condo on top of the mountain in the Gatlinburg area. The condo was lovely, clean, quiet and stocked with all the kitchen appliances towels, bedding, toiletries, games everything you could need to enjoy a quiet, peaceful mountain getaway. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and the property was well maintained. It was just a quick 10 minute drive down the mountain to be right in town. We even got to see a few bears a coyote and some wild turkeys! The host Gigi was amazing! She communicated well, and answered all my questions and concerns before our arrival. Very grateful I found this property listed on Expedia and we would definitely book here again!"

"We loved seeing bears. Almost every bear we saw about 10 was morning or evening on the same mountain as the cabin. We saw zero in the national park over 6 days. This is the place to stay if you want to see bears!"

"Our stay was absolutely incredible! This was hands down one of the best VRBOs we’ve ever stayed in. The chalet was HUGE—beautifully maintained, incredibly clean, and stocked with everything we could have possibly needed and more. It truly felt like a home away from home.One of our favorite parts was being able to cook and enjoy dinner together every night while taking in the gorgeous mountain surroundings. The kitchen had everything we needed, making family meals easy and enjoyable. Walmart even delivered groceries!! The wildlife was unforgettable! We were lucky enough to see bears on the property multiple times every single day. It was such a unique experience, yet we always felt completely safe. Watching them from a respectful distance became one of the highlights of our trip.If you’re looking for a spacious, comfortable, and unforgettable place to stay in Gatlinburg, this is it. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation and are already talking about coming back. Five stars isn’t enough—highly recommend!"

"This was a beautiful property with great views from the rooftop patio. The communications from the Stay Minty team was exceptional. They answered questions promptly before, during, and after our stay. They checked-in with me every day to make sure everything was going well for our family trip.The kitchen was big enough to prep meals for our group and the outdoor space was great: decks on every floor and plenty of space on the roof (sunrise views were spectacular). The bathrooms were modern and comfortable with a great shower.The description of the property says there is a pool on the roof. It is not a pool, but a large hot tub. Community pools are nearby and were uncrowded during our visit.The price we paid felt a little steep, but I suppose that is a factor of supply and demand.Rent this property with confidence that it will be a wonderful spot for a group or family vacation."
