"It is pretty basic, but it was SUPER CLEAN, the room was nice and cold, and the staff was amazing. We chose to stay at Ostional Turtle Lodge due to the proximity to the beach where our tour was scheduled. It is definitely off the beaten path a little bit, but that's what makes Ostional such a special place. A short walk to the beach passing a couple small little restaurants made it perfect. "The property is beautiful. It looks very much like high-end bungalows (in particular the master one) spread across the estate. The kitchen is also placed on a separate bungalow. The swimming pool with the view over the ocean was a treat per se. Two things: I highly advise it for families with teenagers or kids that can sleep independently in a separate bungalow (which means they would have to cross a part of the estate). The property manager was able to accommodate a crib for us but we had to share the bed with our 5 years old as we were reluctant to get her sleep in a separate bungalow. We had a great time despite though and the owners were very accommodating."
