"SOLO TRAVELER REVIEW OMG where do I even begin. this place is indeed as wonderful as it looks and as amazing as the other reviews state it is. the staff all knew me by name literally within the first day. this hotel has an energy that allows your nervous system to completely relax. the aesthetics, the lighting, the music. as a solo traveler without a vehicle, the shuttle was perfect, it leaves from the hotel every hour on the hour from 8am-6pm and it has I think 5 stops around guiones and playa pelada. I also walked a lot which was fine and took lots of tuk tuks! (local "taxis"). The daily yoga classes were so lovely and grounding, and wonderful for all levels, even beginners. The daily breakfast was great, lots of options, and the included OJ was 10/10. Overall this hotel exceeded all my expectations and thank you to all the staff! Only thing I could say is that I wish the staff had name tags because they all remembered my name but I could not remember all theirs : )"

"My family and I stayed in room 7 at Nosara Beach Hotel and the room was clean and nicely decorated, with incredible views of the jungle and the ocean from the balcony. The hotel staff is so kind, welcoming and helpful and if you don’t speak Spanish everyone there is bilingual and speaks excellent English. The grounds were beautiful and well kept, pool was exceptionally clean and so relaxing. We ate breakfast there daily, which was included, and it was all so delicious and the coffee was great. The ocean views from the restaurant terrace are absolutely stunning! The hotel has special access to Playa Guiones and Playa Pelada which was super convenient for our family with young kids. The hotel offers many activities including massages in your room, canopy/zip line tours, snorkeling on Pink Island, and much more. We didn’t have time to take advantage of their activities but we will definitely be back since there is so much to explore. We loved Nosara and this hotel offers the best location for beach and town access and is one of the closest hotels to the ocean. We did have a few ants in the room and one spider in the bathroom but we saw less the longer we were there- but you’re also in the jungle! We saw more insects at our home in Los Angeles than we did here. This hotel was wonderful and I’m so glad we got to stay there for our first, but not the last, trip to Costa Rica!"

"Oceano Pacifico is fantastic! The property is exactly as described—clean, spacious, beautiful, and in a perfect location for exploring Costa Rica and relaxing at the beach. Tara was an exceptional host who communicated flawlessly and provided wonderful local tips. Tiffany helped us settle in by providing us with a full tour of the place and even shared some insight about the area. Our entire experience was seamless. We had the best time and already planning our next visit."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space for our group of five. Tiffany, the property manager, was awesome. She was prompt and professional when replying to our messages and we found her gracious and accommodating throughout our stay. The proximity to Playa Pelada couldn't be better. The pool was lovely and we were delighted by the wildlife sightings in the yard, including howler monkeys in the trees. The AC and fans all worked properly and were most appreciated in such a hot climate. That said, there were a few things that could be improved upon. The dishwasher was broken, as were the blender and the pool net. The shower in the casita came out as a drip. With a few fixes we'd happily stay at this rental again. "

"Feb16-Feb23 Our multi generational family spent 7 amazing days at Casa ZaZa.The villa is beautiful with so much to offer. Two of our children and their families enjoyed the suites . The main house comfortably housed the others!Two laundry rooms, a large well equipped kitchen and an outdoor kitchen were all well utilized. Beautiful gardens with local plants , were well maintained.The pool was used from early morning to late at night.Walking to Playa Pelada to swim and watch the incredible sunsets. Other beaches were a short walk and drive away offering different sand and surf .The villa is located next to a Reserve with hiking through natural vegetation. Local restaurants and the town of Nosara offer many amenities. A magical holiday! Thank you Casa Zaza-Donna and Rob Wentzell "
