We chose to stay at Ostional Turtle Lodge due to the proximity to the beach where our tour was scheduled. "The property is beautiful. It looks very much like high-end bungalows (in particular the master one) spread across the estate. The kitchen is also placed on a separate bungalow. The swimming pool with the view over the ocean was a treat per se. Two things: I highly advise it for families with teenagers or kids that can sleep independently in a separate bungalow (which means they would have to cross a part of the estate). The property manager was able to accommodate a crib for us but we had to share the bed with our 5 years old as we were reluctant to get her sleep in a separate bungalow. We had a great time despite though and the owners were very accommodating."

"The condo was beautiful, clean and functional. It has a great pool, the common areas are clean and the other guests very friendly. The property manager was great, responsive and helpful. You'll need a car to get around as you're about a 12 minute drive to the beach and other amenities, which is no issue. The only down side is that there isn't much greenery around. It doesn't feel like you're necessarily in Costa Rica. If you're looking for the jungle experience, this may not be the place for you. Having said that this is a great option for a clean, safe and modern accommodation."

"Property was awesome, water systems and septic systems need upgrading. Bearly any pressure and little or no hot water for the showers. We have stayed many times in Costa Rica and the issues that I have mentioned seem to apply to most properties. We go for the Pura Vida and we were not disapointed. "
