"Overall, very nice stay easy to locate and work with host. One comment I will say is I had my 80 year old mother with us, there was no outside light on for us and we arrived after dark. Then we came in dropped our things and left a light on in the living room while we grabbed dinner so that upon our return we would have the light. When we returned the light had been turned off, meaning the host had to have turned it off from inside the house. That felt very invasive and unsecure. Because of this...

"The location was in a perfect spot and it was easy to get in and out of the neighborhood to go to all the places that we wanted to visit. The beds, pillows, and couches were very comfortable. We only had one significant complaint - it was unbearably hot upstairs. We couldn't get the thermostat downstairs under 80 degrees, and upstairs felt even hotter. I see comments from other reviews that we should understand "historic home" to mean that the temperature cannot really be controlled, which is...

"We really enjoyed sitting on deck eating our meals taking in all that the river has to offer. Inside was very pleasant also with full views of the river. The only glitch was losing electricity due to a storm of course over which no one had control. James was very helpful under the circumstances by bringing us flashlights and some battery operated lights. He even offered to move us to another location but we liked it so much there that we chose to stay."

"We had 11 Adults and an infant. Everyone had a bed. Everything was in perfect working order in a good neighborhood. Folks out walking dogs and kids playing with other kids. Everyone seemed friendly. Close to shopping centers and food places. The cleaning team missed a few areas but we easily took care of it ourselves with minimal effort. There are many extras provided. Paper towels, TP and coffee items. I would rent here again."
