The best area to stay in Neyland is around the Neyland Marina.

This area is the heart of Neyland, offering picturesque views of the Milford Haven Waterway and easy access to local amenities. It's a pleasant area for a stroll, with a selection of eateries and independent shops along the waterfront. The marina itself is a focal point, providing a relaxed setting.

Couples often find this location ideal for a peaceful getaway. The marina's setting is superb for leisurely walks, enjoying meals with a view, and simply unwinding by the water. There are also opportunities for boat trips from the marina, which can add a special touch to a romantic break.

For solo travellers seeking a quiet retreat with convenient access to walking trails, the area around the marina is also a good choice. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is easily accessible from Neyland, offering stunning coastal walks and opportunities to explore the natural beauty of the region.

For most visitors, the best time to go to Neyland is during the summer months, particularly from June to August, when the weather is generally at its finest.

During this period, you can expect longer daylight hours and warmer temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and enjoying outdoor activities. The sea will also be at its warmest, which is great for water sports or boat trips from Neyland Marina. This is particularly appealing for families looking to make the most of the beaches and coastal paths.

Couples might find late spring (May) or early autumn (September) equally appealing. The weather is still pleasant, but the area is typically less crowded than in the peak summer season. This allows for a more relaxed experience when visiting local attractions or enjoying a quiet meal by the water.
