The Imperial Hotel

The Imperial Hotel

8/10 Good
"The only thing about the weekend stay was we returned from a coastal walk on the Saturday to enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace only to be met with a crowd of party goers and a DJ. We couldn't get anywhere near the terrace but was lucky enough to get a seat inside with a view. Still not the same as it was such a beautiful day we wanted to be outside. Having said that the staff who were there were ever so helpful. They worked so hard that day because it was really busy. Had a lovely stay and would definitely go back again. Perfect location. We didn't have breakfast as we wanted to sample the breakfasts locally."

"The cottage (Carrow) was a perfect base for my family to enjoy Pembrokeshire for 5 days. Huge, safe garden for the children to play and run around in. Gorgeous views from the bedrooms overlooking the river. I witnessed a gaggle of geese on two mornings landing on the river. The kitchen is well equipped with adequate fridge and freezer space. Washing machine and dry also came in useful. Wi-fi excellent in the house but generally poor connection in and around Tenby largely due to ongoing O2 mast issues. We all enjoyed the beaches including Freshwater East, Barafundle and Manobier. Have change available for car parking due to the poor connection issues. Be prepared to pay 40p to use toilets. On the whole a very happy time, our Swedish family went home with many happy memories."

"We stayed in a family room as it was the only room available at the time. It was a decent size and clean with a large ensuite. Staff very friendly and helpful. Limited parking available on first come basis (14 spaces). Decent bar with good prices for a hotel particularly the happy hour (4 till 8pm) . Good breakfast but could do with a selection of croissants and charcuterie."

"I stayed at heywood hotel this weekend with my partner and grandson. It was close to drive into Tenby for all of the amenities. We were in the pool and jacuzzi every day after returning from a day out. The staff were helpful and friendly. Its very accommodating for children - our grandson is 14. The restaurant and food were 5 star and a great choice for everyone. I fully recommend this place and I'm sure that we will return."

"The check in was easy, lady graciously let us check in a little earlier. Suite was big, clean and bright. The kitchenette area was a big plus, as was the free parking. A short stroll down the hill to the beach and town, and both were lovely. The hotel was lovely, a little tired in areas though. For instance, brambles overgrowing the paths, the pool which is a great touch, felt dirty and had an odour, im not an expert, but felt it needed filtering and a deep clean. To be fair though the positives far out weigh the negatives and it felt like the owners are doing it up, on a constant cycle, which is good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it and return no problem."
