"Such a lovely property with beautiful views of the surrounding farms. Our family enjoyed a morning swim every day and our two young kids loved the outdoor space to ride their bikes and play cricket. There is plenty to do at the house, with a trampoline outside and board games available inside. We stayed for a week and spent most of our time at the home, enjoying all it has to offer. The neighbours were friendly and we had plenty of animals visiting including a lovely little Kelpie from down the road and the cows grazing in the paddock next door. Everyone had a wonderful time and the kids are already asking when we can go back. Darren was a wonderful host who went out of his way to make sure we had arrived and settled in well to the house. He was very responsive and assisted us with a last minute booking when our other accommodation fell through. "

"Very relaxing place, if you are looking for a dog friendly place that is isolated enough with only cattle as you neighbors and great views of the lake and the bushes, This is the place. Love it."

"We had a great family reunion at Eyrie Bowrie Homestead. The outdoor fireplace area was as great gathering place, especially for the children. The steep stairs were challenging for the older members of our group but it was beneficial exercise. We have mislaid a pyjama top which may have been left under a pillow of the N-facing bedroom with ensuite."

"The property was stunning in every conceivable way. Spacious, luxurious yet felt like a beautiful home. Anything you could want or nwed was to be found there in the kitchen and laundry. We had the most perfect getaway. Thank you so much."

"Incredible farm stay!! The home is immaculate with top end appliances and everything you could possibly wish for. The host too is outstanding, communication is top notch, willingness to help with anything and a pleasure to deal with. The farm is pristine with so much to see, from native wildlife (wombats, kangaroos, deer, birdlife including wedge tailed eagles) and all the farm animals including cattle, sheep and a very friendly farm dog named Jackson who was on hand to greet us arriving! We too our two dogs and they had a ball!! I can highly recommend this farm stay - we will be going back. Finally the farm manager was great he took us on a wonderful tour which was a lot of fun and great to help us get to know the farm. 10/10…Thank you Kieran, Kathy and dogs "

"We really enjoyed staying at The Sanctuary! It's peaceful, has beautiful views overlooking the valley, and has no traffic noise whatsoever, which is important to us. The house is thoughtfully designed, and just a bit on the quirky side, which made it interesting. The kitchen is super well equipped, and great for making your own meals if that's your thing. On the downside, we did find that we couldn't turn the fans on due to them being caked with dust, and that was an issue for us, due to some of us having dust allergies. Overall, the house was a bit dustier than we'd like, but we do have high standards, so maybe for most people, it's quite ok.We were also wishing that the whole house had air conditioning, as it was pretty warm while we were there, and the only air cond is in the dining area. The 3rd bedroom has flyscreens, but they had some holes that lets bugs in, and no one likes critters. Overall, we enjoyed the space, and had a great time! Belinda was also a great host and an excellent communicator!"
