"I wish our stay could have been longer! The suite is very big and comfortable. While retaining architectural features of the 200-year old building, it has all modern comforts. The kitchen is fully stocked for guests to make their own breakfast. Staff speak excellent English. Really really nice! "

"We would stay here again. The location was great with a park across the street and nearby grocery stores. No restaurants were open nearby, despite it being Saturday night. The room was generally quiet and the sheets were super soft. The room was big and had good options to lay out our suitcases. The room also had a mini fridge, however there was no bottled water in the room. The toilet seat and toilet paper rack were both very loose, but the bathroom had a fan. The fridge and fan were extra nice because we didn't have those amenities anywhere else we stayed in Ecuador. The tv also had options to watch youtube. Breakfast was fantastic - fruit, eggs, toast, meat & cheese, juice, coffee - all included. The building door did not have an outside handle, making it difficult to close the door when leaving."

"We really enjoyed our stay. We had the Amazon (luxury) room and it was great. Loved the bed ! Firm and really comfortable! Soaker tub and complimentary wine was also nice. Freddy in the restaurant and all staff were great. We walked to centre of old town from the hotel within 10-15. We felt safe in and around old town Quito. Previously we were in Brazil, so this was a nice change. While elevation isn’t super high (2800m approx) we did get altitude sickness for about 18 hours. We dint expect it so we didn’t take medicine in advance, but when we did, it helped. Breakfast was nice. Pretty simple but nice ham & eggs, etc. "

"Never cleaned the room toiletpaper never replaced when empty television didn't work. I paid for a room for 2 and they took out 1 of the 2 towels. Wall very dirty."

"Excellent hotel. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I found it very clean, we did not use the gym but it looked very well equipped. We did enjoy the Hot tub, pool, cold plunge, and sauna. The best part as I knew rain was in the forecast, everything was on the roof and covered so you can still utilize everything. Restaurant was pretty good, I found adding the breakfast was worth it for convenience, good selection but it is buffet so i did not expect the best."
