"Hi highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel near Old Town Quito. Mario and Blanco were fantastic hosts from helping us during our very late arrivals, to a wonderful breakfast each morning, helping us with suggestions on where to go in Old Town, making our dinner reservation & transport to the airport. All were perfect! "

"The electrical outlets are old so it is hard to charge devices , it is very clean and has antique charm they made us feel safe . There is more than 2 floors and this affected us getting the room needed because I was not able to climb stairs the water had great pressure but hardly was hot at all "

"The hotel is just one block from the main square, which makes it easy to visit and enjoy Quito's historical monuments at a leisurely pace. The hotel staff is very attentive and helped us coordinate transfers to and from the airport, as well as helping us with tours of both Quito's historic center and an excursion to one of the volcanoes. "This was one of the best hotels we have stayed. It was so clean, staff was extremely helpful and friendly all along the way. Fresh bread daily and stocked fridge. So personal and very welcoming. Recommendations for restaurants and shopping were spot on. I would highly recommend to anyone especially with a family. "
"Check in super easy, staff very nice. Room is nice and clean as well. (Minor things I don’t like personal preference :I don’t like rain showers cause I don’t like to get my very long hair wet and the head is so high you can’t adjust it. The doors are paper thin so you do hear what is going on in the corridor.) That being said I still would come back here again."
"We were very happy with our stay at Casona 1914. It's a lovely hotel with Great staff and very spacious and comfortable rooms--and very clean! We were recovering from our arduous trip, and one day we just stayed in the room almost all day, and it felt pleasant. The coffee at breakfast was really good, and there were several choices on the breakfast menu. When it came time to leave they gave us a late checkout which really helped with our schedule for the day. We were able to walk down to the Plaza Grande, and there were restaurants close by."
