"This is a fantastic property located about two blocks from Plaza San Francisco in the old town. The property is expansive, definitely room for 14 people with excellent furnishings, exceptional art and a very attentive staff attending to all our needs. We were ten including three teenagers and every one of us was thrilled to be here. This has to be the best property in Quito and thank you very much for opening up your personal residence for our benefit."

"Central location but on the expensive side. We had a good room for the night we had booked but when we asked for late checkout the next day, they asked us to pack our luggage and moved us to a very tiny room, barely place to keep our bags and move about inside the room; no windows; they wanted to charge us half the same rate as for the larger room; music from the restaurant could be heard so we weren’t able to get the rest we needed before our night flight which was partly the reason for requesting a late checkout. They reduced the charge slightly but overall the extended time was not a very good experience. Ensure you get the room you book, yard rooms are probably not great. Staff were nice and helpful. Rooftop restaurant has good view of the city"
