"Fantastic stay. Room overlooking the lake was wonderful. The staff were very helpful and always happy to help. The included bus tour of the shrines was a lovely bonus. The option of the included meals was fantastic and the meals we had over our stay were outstanding. Would recommend."

"If you are a tourist, this place is only accessible by taxi. If you want to take the bus, make sure you do not have luggage as the city busses are very small. The onsen is really the highlight of the place. "

"This was the most expensive accommodation we booked in Japan (there was nothing else available at the time) and sadly it was not worth the price. There was no communication from the hosts before arrival and we found it very difficult to find the exact address in order to locate it on our phones. We had booked dinner and breakfast and the food was average. The young man running the place was doing his best but it was a disappointing place. "

"Very easy process to self check in, room spotless, great free drinks options, excellent breakfast (would recommend getting double portion of 'toast', which is delivered to your door at specified time (you must choose order before 11pm). Great location next to lake front. Would def stay again 😎"

"the included Dinner and breakfast were excellent with so many courses and nicely prepared. Very impressive presentation. The onsen, sauna and cold bath was very relaxing. The tatami room was very spacious. In general, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. A bit far, so shuttle was necessary for us without a car. Nothing nearby in walking distance. "
