"Staff were great, especially Yoko as she spoke English and was able to help with requests. One source of stress was having to pay in cash if you elect to pay at the accommodation. This should be made clear when booking. We would have happily paid by credit card in advance had it been made clear. No one from overseas carries that kind of cash. The ryokan should be encouraged to adjust their "rule" and take credit cards."

"Hotel is about 15 minutes from train station. Check in was straight forward. Price included kaiseki dinner in dining area which features sukiyaki, tempura, sashimi and assorted appetizers. Self serve rice and miso soup. Buffwt breakfast was also included and was very good. Hotel has a public bath. Free sodas, coffee and juice available all day. Tatami room was spacious and had 2 single beds which were firm but comfortable."

"The house itself is beautiful but all around it is extremely badly taking care of. The yard is a mess, the grass high, and just next to some run down green houses. "広大な敷地にある素敵な日本庭園と藁ぶき屋根の母屋がとても印象的です。 わずか１１室のみですので、静かにのんびりと過ごせます。 チェックインをするためだけの空間など、少しもったいない感じがありました。 思いっきり和の空間ですが、お食事はフレンチ。美味しかったですが、なんとなく和食の方がしっくりくる感じがします。上諏訪は酒蔵も多いですし、地酒とともに味わう和食というのも魅力的だと思います。外国人の姿もちらほら見かけましたので、和食も食べられるとポイント高いと思います。 スタッフの方は皆さんにこやかで、優しくとても心地よい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。"
