"Stayed in the Twin Superior room in June 2026 with my 17-year old son for 3 nights. The room was thoughtfully appointed, gorgeously maintained and very spacious. The hotel is inside the Kyoto Station so coming in on Shinkansen from Tokyo and day trips to Nara and Arashiyama could not have been more convenient. While the Kyoto Station is bustling and crowded 24/7, when you walk into the hotel, it’s a peaceful oasis. The staff was very helpful and professional. Other areas of Kyoto are easily accessible via trains, taxis or walking. We used the laundry service which was very convenient, it was picked up at 9:30 am and delivered back to our room by 5:30 pm the same day. It was a little expensive though. Would definitely stay here again."

"Although this is an older hotel, the deligent cleaning staff keeps the rooms very clean. The hotel is in a convenient location which is across the street from the Kyoto Station and close to Aeon Mall. There are 4 venues for breakfast so it is worthwhile to purchase breakfast when booking the room."

"Genuinely luxurious. Staff went above and beyond, the room was perfect, and the rooftop bar was an unexpected bonus that turned out to be one of the best parts of the stay, really busy and buzzing. Great great experience. Best hotel of the trip if you're not counting the ryokan, which is in a completely different league."

"Everything was fantastic a out this hotel, we would highly recommend. We stayed as a family of 5 - 2 adults, 1 elementary aged child and 2 under five years old. The hotel is literal steps away from the Metro and JR station, convince stores all around and a lots of food and shopping options around the hotel too! Check in was a breeze, staff were very helpful. Rooms were very clean. The public bath was great and really added to an extra special experience at the hotel. The hotel is registered in Yamato luggage forwarding services. There was coin operated laundry machines on site but was often being used. The laundry machines in Japan don't typically dry heavier fabric clothes, so it might take 2-3 dry cycles to finish a load. There are laundromats close by that have bigger capacity if you are in a real pinch. There is also a guest lounge with free coffee and teas. There is also an on site resteraunt that we never ended eating at."
