This motor-inn is quite simply a great place to stay if you are unpretentious. The staff were very friendly, the price was great, and my breakfasts were huge servings of deliciously cooked food. The room itself is simple but functional, and very neat and tidy. There is a pub literally over the quiet road where you can have a meal, and a restaurant or two more just around the corner from that within easy walking distance. My family and I have stayed at this hotel a few times before and we keep going back because we enjoy the facilities, the staff are helpful and very friendly.

I loved everything about my stay here except for: 1. I had trouble controlling the air conditioning temperature and there were no instructions - it seemed to have a mind of its own! 2. No blockout curtains on the windows if you want to sleep in. Everything else was fabulous.

What an exceptional hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed every part of this hotel and the staff were amazing!

Everything was great and definitely good value for money. Just be mindful that Collins St is closed between 12-2pm on weekdays. So could be a bit inconvenient if you have a lot of baggage. Also room was not quite sound proof. I could hear someone vacuuming or showering upstairs.

Although this property is a little dated it was excellent. The place was very clean and the friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. The bed was very comfy.

Perfect location to walk to Marvel stadium for an event. Tram stop directly outside, perfect to explore the city. Fantastic views from the apartment with a balcony and windows that open for fresh air.
