"This was my second stay. The front desk staff, the waitress at the restaurant (Maribel), the older gentleman who looked like a manager named John, and JC Hernandez were so welcoming I felt like I was eating at grandmas kitchen. The place is beautiful, the service brough back the joy of travel again. Hotel experience has gone down so much over time, this place brings it back. I cant wait to go back. The 1/2 burger is amazing, and so is the Loco Moco"

"Regarding the rooms, I liked the building with the gym. The "regular King Suite" in the building where the front desk is, was smaller than the pictures and a found it stuffy. However, the front desk was very accommodating and made sure we got into a room we were comfortable in. That was a double queen room in the next building. The bathroom has a jacuzzi tub, refrigerator, microwave and a sink to do dishes. It really met our needs on this trip. "

"This was the worst stay I’ve ever had there. Definitely need to keep the rooms and balconies clean and fix the water stains from the broken a/c and heater that didn’t work in my room"

"After COVID the hotel rates increased dramatically based on the few improvements to the rooms~ The bathtubs still have no mats in the tubs so they're very slippery~ Bathroom flooring always seems dirty~ The bed coverings are 2 sheets and a thin blanket, we froze both nights! But it's one individual in particular, Kevin, who is very matter of fact and never friendly or helpful! I've been staying at LHL several times a year for the last 10 years and every front desk agent is helpful and friendly, all but Kevin! It was 2 years ago, when I booked through the hotel directly, tgat I was charged a "BED TAX" which resulted in another $100 being added to my bill! I questioned it and Kevin became argumentative and couldn't explain what this tax was for and why isn't it mentioned on their website! That's when I stopped staying there~"

"This was an excellent hotel but very ultra modern. Since i like traditional decor and furniture there were some things that i did not like. I prefer a chest of drawers in a hotel room not the bench with 2 little drawers which were insufficient. There was no desk just and oval table which did not suffice for our laptops. I would also prefer a microwave to a safe since warehouse 72 only had overpriced fru fru fussy food. Also the pool access was through the parking lot which was a bad design."
