"Although the location and overall property is nice, the place is outdated and could use some cleanup. Room was spacious but lacked any sort of personalization. One framed print in the entire place made it feel empty and blah. Hot tub was lukewarm and jets weren’t working. Very “loud” - could hear my neighbor snoring. "

"Room was clean and having a two-room suite was a plus. The balcony with a single chair only provides a view of trees--you cannot see the ocean from the hotel but Doheny State Beach is only a block away."

"There is major construction at this hotel. I was advised the only way to avoid some of the noise was to pay for an upgraded room on the other side of the hotel. Once there it was where they parked the construction equipment and once that started was far from quiet!"

"The staff was friendly and very helpful. Great pool area. The room was spacious and had an excellent bathroom. The beach is a short. The only drawback is the closeness to a main road. I would still highly recommend the property without reservation. "
