"This is the second time we've stayed at the Motel 6 in Marina and it's a good location with a fair price. I'd give it a 5 instead of a 4, except the second time the AC unit made a strange noise. They might want to check out the AC unit in Room 205."

"The parking was very secure in a garage under the hotel. They obviously power wash this area. I spoke with the maintenance guy and he confirmed they power wash it a lot. "

"The room was big spacious, so comfortable. They accommodated my cats had everything I needed. That baseball was awesome all the way around the property. Everything is clean nice very well-kept I would come back."

"Portola is great! We stay there whenever we go to Monterey, the hotel is great, the employees couldn't be more helpful, the location is the best in walking distance to so many things which i really love. Don't hesitate on booking this place."

"Room was clean and cozy. Staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the location, there was so much within walking distance. Downsides: the old hotel has a weird layout, it’s hard to navigate and although there is an elevator, I still had to drag luggage up some stairs and through narrow corridors. No onsite parking so you have to pay extra to park, and again you have to carry luggage around."
