The Oaks South Yarra was close and convenient to shops, restaurants, and other businesses. The building was well sound proofed considering how close it was to the railway line. The kitchenette was well equipped and clean.

Excelente service apartment

I was recommended to stay there by my work contact. It’s super convenient as it’s right next to the train station as well aa the tram stop. The apartment is very spacious and it’s also close to the trail along the driver. I love the fact that I even have an in-unit washer and dryer!

I stayed 2 nights and would say this was value for money. The ladies on reception were all very welcoming and attentive. The decor of the room is quite dated and economical but pleasant enough. Room came with a washing machine and dryer, small kitchen, bathroom, double bed and a living room. Loads of nearby food options and of course the station is a 5 min walk of that.

Fabulous location. Had a newer large 1 bedroom. Very spacious and comfortable. Incredibly quiet - right by trains, trans, heaps of restaurants etc.

Great place to stay and close to CBD

Place was clean and best thing is just next to the subway. Going to CBD was easy, just 2 to 3 stations. Place was quiet at night and people who like a good night sleep will like this place. Room got everything u need. Cooking facility, washing machine and dryer are all there. Will stay again on my next visit

Great find!

Fabulous location right by train station yet incredibly quiet. Room was a bit tired but still comfortable and spacious (1 bedroom apt). Bathroom quite small. Well equipped kitchen and full laundry too.

Great location

Oaks South Yarra is at a great location, round the corner of South Yarra Station. That's the main reason I chose to stay there flying to Melbourne. There are many shops, cafes and restaurant nearby on Toorak Road.

We enjoyed our stay! Both reception staff during checking in and checking out were friendly and informative. The room was clean, the parking very close and affordable. Public transport available at the door, and places to explore and eat were next door or around the corner. The only con was a working dryer but we only found this out the night before check out, and by then it was after hours, so didn't really hinder our experience. Would definitely come back. Would suggest printed and laminated instructions for air con

The location is excellent in terms of access to public transit and nearby restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, boutique stores and services. The staff are really nice, friendly and helpful, doing their best to accommodate. Unfortunately the apartments themselves are not great: there are issues with molding (due to poor ventilation and humidity in the unit), leaky bathroom sink, dysfunctional dryer that takes forever to dry clothes and switches off every few minutes), poor overall layout and really uncomfortable furniture, and most importantly really poor (practically unusable) WIFI (like come on, its 2024). If you are staying for a couple days and need a conveniently located place, then it is ok, but I would not recommend it for a long-term stay.
