"The hotel is conveniently located downtown and close to everything you’d want to do. The room itself was nice, spacious, and very clean. Unfortunately, there were several service issues during our stay. The biggest surprise was the $70 overnight parking fee. While there was a small sign at the entrance, no one mentioned the charge when they took our vehicle, so it came as an unexpected expense. We also ordered room service, which was disappointing. In addition, the delivery attendant did not tell us that gratuity was already included, so we ended up tipping twice. Another issue involved a $20 food credit that was included with my Expedia booking. I was not given the required voucher at check-in and didn’t know I needed one. When I asked about it the next day, I was told I should have received it upon arrival. The staff attempted to have the restaurant refund the credit, but because it was the following day, they declined. A supervisor got involved but offered no solution. I was told the credit could not be applied because we paid for room service directly with a credit card instead of charging it to the room, which was never presented as an option. Overall, the hotel itself is nice, and I would consider staying again due to the location and quality of the room. However, better communication regarding fees, credits, and guest options, along with improved customer service, would make for a much better experience. Was really dissatisfied with how the food credit was handled"

"I loved my stay! The room was spacious, well decorated, and clean! The staff were very helpful and called up to let me know they'd forgotten to give me a drink voucher during my check in. My room had a "mystery room" (used to be a washer/dryer). The door was unlocked but didn't close properly so it opened a few times. I'm sure they'll fix it with renos soon. Otherwise my only complaint was the frequent fire alarms. I didn't know what it was the first time as I am used to the red bell and this was just beeping on the intercom. A safety video with check in or a note on the door would have been helpful as I was unsure of the location of the stairs and had to refer to the large map on the back of my door anyways. The safety announcement was inaudible in the stairwell, but the firetrucks could already be heard outside so I just kept going. The second time I was heading out anyways so I didn't duck back onto a floor to hear the announcement. Not many amenities, but the hotel was lovely and had a pretty (and busy) restaurant. Besides the 2am fire evacuation, I loved my stay and will stay here again!"

"Bathroom too small to use the sink without the door in your way, very uncomfortable, old mattress, towels smell like vinegar, room smelled of rot and feces, adjoining doors transfer fully audible conversations from next door, fire alarm went off 3 times in 4 days leading to much lost sleep and when made to evacuate there was no security at the muster point to keep the zombie crackheads from harassing partially clothed guests, putting people in further danger. All for the low price of $800/night with a generous gold upgrade for a mere $179/night."
