"I am so glad after reading some really bad reviews about the Hotel I had originally booked that I was able to secure a last minute reservation at Le Drips....besides being a moderately priced beautiful Hotel with a stunning pool....it is literally a museum of Modern and Local Art.....We had spent almost a week in the gloom of Paris and some fellow travellers told us we would find lots of welcoming faces and a different attitude in Marseilles....boy howdy were they right....and it all started...

"No getting away from it, the property is on the main street (La Canabière) so it's louder than ideal from the nightlife well into the night - but you might be out their yourself and I was so tired after exploring each day that I fell asleep anyway - it's a fantastically situated hotel with a harbour view and the staff were excellent, always helpful and their English was far superior to my French!
