Spent 2 days as a solo traveller, hotel was good value for money. Staff were friendly and could communicate through the language barrier. Room was decent but a little unclean, not messy enough for a bad review and would recommend this apparthotel.

Good Value

Excellent value for the money. Great location with easy access to everywhere. Eight minute walk to metro station. 3 stops to Saint-Charles and port area. Great Wifi and hot water..two important things for Americans haha. Nice size clean room with awesome views. Definitely would stay there again.

Beautiful

Very nice experience! Anyone who writes negative reviews for this hotel means that they are not fit to travel. Very professional and polite staff. great location! a few metro stops and you reach the port. The hotel is comfortable, clean and has comfortable beds. I rested very well. The guys at the reception are among the best I've met in my travels

We had a problem with our fridge when we first got to the hotel; it didn't cool properly and it had what looked like to be black mold at the back of it, though the staff swore it was cooling fluid. They said they would send someone to look at the fridge/change it but nobody came, even after asking more than 3 times. We had to put our food in a Ziploc bag inside the fridge just in case it wasn't actually cooling fluid... The rest of the room was clean though, and the staff was really nice. Just a pity about the fridge.

Lots of hair, just not ours

Room was terrible, hair on the bedsheets, hair, and dirt on the mats, dirt in the corners, it looks like nobody cleans. The front desk attendant was very helpful and apologetic. Ended up showing us more rooms, the next one was also dirty, the third one… Wow, at that time calling around everything else in Marseille was fully booked. Oh well.

Located in awful dirty neighborhood. Lots of graffiti tagging. Dog feces all over the sidewalks. No parking. Cars parkeded on sidewalk so forced to walk in streets. Many shut down buildings in neighborhood. Urban blight comes to mind. We cancled once we saw the place.

A truly awful experience

Truly awful. Cheap, poor quality fittings, no air conditioning and in a horrible area…no toiletries, broken appliances and plastic floors… avoid at all costs!

Never make a reservation for this hotel

This is, by far, the worst hotel I have experienced. Had too make a last minute reservation and ver few hotel available. Well this is not a hotel, it is something between a hostel and a camp for refugees. Situated in some sort of gated community, so it just to forget to order a taxi. No public transportation, no restaurants in the neigborhood, dark streets with few lamps, room cleaned once a week and no changes of towels. Staff work as they hate their job, which is understandable.
