"We loved the three resident cats on the property and the whispering pine trees with hammocks. A very serene and peaceful place with nice breakfast buffet and real chill vibes. Cool wildlife too - geckos, anoles, toads, snails, and birds. Overall a lovely place. Best of all ... The staff was nice, helpful, and just all around great folks."

"have been staying here for years and it is always great. This time was just a one night in and out because we flew in from mainland and headed to another island the next day for a wedding. Proximity to airport and not staying in a chain made it a great spot to get the most out of one night and day in Maui. we have stayed at Paia Inn over the years and always enjoy our stay regardless of the length."

"Absolutely beautiful place. Plenty of space for everyone in our party. Beautiful old Hawaii charm. Roomy kitchen with plenty of room for multiple people to cook and well stocked. Pool is outstanding with a gorgeous view. Nearby Makawao really cute and charming town. Good driving distance for both Haleakala and Road to Hana. We all really loved our stay here!"

"This was our second visit to Maui, so we wanted to try something different; we chose something upcountry instead of on the beach this time. We will likely go back to the beach for future visits, because we really didn’t enjoy having to drive all the way back and change after spending time on the beach. That said, the property was not a bad choice. Our stay was pleasant, with the exception of a random leak that happened in the unit’s restroom. Also, the patio could have been a little cleaner. We might have used it if it had been. Other than that, this is a good spot if you’re not concerned with the mid day runs back to the place to clean up before dinner or whatever else you’re doing. It is a great proximity to some good shopping and great restaurants in Pā’ia!"
