Simple and easy to stay. Parking in 5 seconds away, clean room and shower and toilet. Clean towels and blanket - thoughtfully placed. Kettle and microwave in the kitchen. Best beautiful and affordable place to stay.
Located upcountry, you are greeted to lush grounds with plenty of fruit trees and sweet smelling flowers. Charming and helpful hosts, shared kitchen/toilet/showers in main house, 7 rooms with code locking doors.
Very easy to get to, great location to get around the rest of the island.
We would stay again!
…expect bugs
Thank you for allowing me to stay!! The check in was easy. Room was clean and comfortable. Didn’t use the amenities but seemed like there was a lot of stuff.
We had a great stay! The bed was super comfortable and the space was very clean. Overall it was nicer than I had expected from the photos. Would totally stay agin
Tammi responsed quickly to texts. They kept up with cleaning and the other guests were quiet. Bathrooms, showers, kitchen, seating areas and outdoor areas are all shared. Guests were consistent with cleaning up after themselves.
Everything was great!! Kitchen, hot tub, snacks, and amenities were so clean and the owners were some of the nicest people I’ve met!! Will be coming back here again and staying for SURE!! Plus it’s centrally located, so pretty much everything is 30 mins away instead of super long drives!
Traveling with a friend to different areas on Maui. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff communication was clear and easy to follow. Hot tub was out of order, but would’ve been a welcomed amenity after our long hike.

Quaint local hostel type of location. Close to Paia and Haleakalā national park.
This is an excellent property for budget travelers. It has a hostel-like vibe with your own bedroom, fan, fridge, and closet. There are clean shared bathrooms, a shared kitchen, and great scenery with a retreat-like atmosphere.
Truly a peaceful place to stay. Met some lovely travelers and the family who runs the b&b is so kind. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and rooms are simple, but nice. The outdoor shower and hot tub were a bonus. Highly recommend.
We had the best experience staying at Tammi and Mika‘s place. They are the most warm and welcoming hosts! All amenities are there as described plus more. Great location 15 minutes by car from the airport in a green lush area with amazing views! I highly recommend the place. You’re not going to be disappointed! We just left and we miss Mika and Tammi already!
I didn't visit the national park. Clean, however property is pretty old, facility is no frills. Shared bathrooms. Check in was seamless.

I agree with a review that called this place a step below a B&B and a step above a hostel. If you have to have AC this is not a place for you! Either I overlooked this or based on reviews, I determined I could live without AC in the month of September. Overall, I (age 60, solo traveler) was satisfied with my stay in Sept 2026. This place has its regulars. It served as a good base camp, and not a place I hung out during the day. Fans were available in bedrooms and you could open windows, however this triggered my sinuses. The humidity hung in the air despite the breeze that existed during my stay. Otherwise, the location was good for my activities and drives, the bedroom clean, it had a mini fridge, bath towels, beach towels. Your room number had sections of a shared fridge/freezer and cabinets in the shared kitchen where you could store food and snacks. My stay-the range was not working, there were hot plates, microwave, toaster ovens/fryers, etc. There was a grill outside, but I did not see anyone use it. Another guest mentioned the hot tub had no water in it. It could be a little buggy. While I was not bitten inside, another guest mentioned mosquitoes. Shared shower/bathrooms facilities (3 each). This did not seem to be a problem. I really enjoyed my evenings meeting and engaging with the other travelers and sharing our excursions and next day plans. Free parking, and friendly owners, I would consider staying here again, but no AC could be a deal breaker.
