The staff are very welcoming and helpful, excluding the "Bar Chef Manager" (Mr Tariq I think his name is) who seemed to think that providing any assistance was just beneath him. He actually refused to collect a tea-pot from our room, instead sending me up to get it as I assumed they take it down themselves. Terribly rude man.
The rest of the staff are always willing to help. They don't really seem to know much about the local area but in-house facilities are pretty good. Rooms were large and comfortable, and was cleaned daily.
I was surprised they didnt ever change the bedsheets (we were there 6 days) and there was no iron and nothing in the fridge. They were happy to bring up food and drinks from downstairs but thats only before 11pm (which is quite early). The breakfast was okay, just don't ask for a second glass of juice as they'll just tell you its run out. Apart from a few flaws, its a pretty decent place for the price. Its not a silver-spooned service and you have to ask for most things (slippers etc). The shower power isn't great aswell. The wifi is fantastic so if youre looking for connectivity, this is your place.
If your looking for luxury and a decent spot of food/drink at night, then this isnt your place. (But the News Cafe restrurant opposite has some fantastic food, I would recommend it!) I'd recommend getting the breakfast aswell as its 7-10am, cheap, with some variety of items. They are also very flexible with a late checkout and storage of luggage.
