The hotel and service was fine but the shower was leaking. The hotel staff accidentally left the window open and the room was full of mosquitoes. We spent at least half and hour get rid of them instead of spending that time relaxing.

Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. The evening staff was wonderful. However, the older lady who checked us out seemed stressed and was very rude to me. At check out, I handed her the key, then stepped aside so my husband could pay because he carry’s the credit card. But as I stepped aside, the lady thought I was leaving without paying…we did not appreciate this. Also, we bought dinner across the street and brought it to the hotel atrium to enjoy. When we finished, we cleared the table, threw away our trash, then proceeded back to our room. A minute later there was a knock on our door; the lady came to our door accusing us of taking our dinner to our room…again, not appreciated.

Great hotel
The hotel is an art piece. The garden is very nice and the breakfast area is amazing. it takes about 25 mins to St mont Michel but it's acceptable.

Really lovely hotel, conveniently located for Avranches and about 25 minutes by car from Mont St Michel. Super nice, helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. A great choice if you’re looking to stay in the area.

Veronique was an exceptional host very friendly helpful and accommodating. We stopped over on the way to Cherbourg. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable and there are lovely gardens at the hotel. I would recommend.

Lovely hotel (B&B)
Lovely hotel - beautiful rooms and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast overlooking the pretty gardens. No restaurant for dinner and not much in the immediate area (and no taxis/ubers to go into Avranches) - but there was a delightful Asian restaurant next to the hotel - Miam by Maya - if you didn't fancy driving after a long journey.

Gorgeous property with beautiful gardens and excellent service. Great choice for visiting Mont Saint Michele. The neighboring town of Avranches is very quaint and worth a visit.

Hidden Gem
This is a lovely hotel with great grounds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect with a balcony and view out over a huge garden. There is a lovely glass garden room for breakfast attached to their bar. Really enjoyed this stay.

Loved it, great stay.
Really enjoyed our stay at La Ramade. The room was big and very comfortable. Separate shower and toilet which is nice. Very quiet and cozy. The breakfast was great in the morning and they even had bacon! One of the highlights was the wine machine (not sure the correct name) but it takes a test tube of wine then entered into the top of a machine where is then brought to the correct temperature, aerate etc. Really cool if you are into wine. We walked to a nearby restaurant (a steakhouse) but not sure about other restaurants in the area and what others are walkable or drive. The staff can recommended some but we picked our own. The grounds are lovely and relaxing. After a long day, it was great to have a few glasses of wine outsides in the garden. Really liked it and would stay again. Also, has private parking.

A lovely place to stay
This is a beautiful place although I didn't see which building the photo in the listing showed as there are two buildings within the grounds. The one we stayed in was a beautifully converted old house with new facilities combined with the old charm. If you have the choice, there are a few suggestions... We had the room called 'Iris' which is a lovely room with a nice shower, but in the absence of air conditioning we had the windows open and, being the closest to what we soon realised was a busy crossroads, it was really quite noisy with traffic. The bed was way too hard for our liking, but this is a personal choice of course. We booked two rooms and the other was equally as nice, albeit different (as all the rooms are). The staff were very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was typically continental but fresh and well laid out. The grounds are beautiful too. It was a hidden gem in an otherwise very small town.

A hidden gem of a hotel
A hidden gem of a hotel. So family friendly, yet with an air of luxury. Loved our family room; it was spacious and comfortable and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious, with a huge choice; something for everyone. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. We’d definitely return!
