Good property but there was a fight with one of the workers that caused a huge scene. Buena propiedad pero había una pelea con un trabajador que causó mucha preocupación.
I stayed here for 2 nights. The front desk was very helpful. Breakfast was served as per personalized taste/ request. Rooms were very clean. Good insulation in the rooms. Walking distance to the machu pichu bus stop and train station.
From start to finish, the staff was super nice and accommodating. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, the shower had great pressure, and the breakfast was good.

Gracias Priscilla nos motivas a seguir adelante con eñ servicio te agradese el equipo de Andino hotel Machupicchu
I had an awesome stay at this hotel. the people working were super nice and accommodating (Esmerelda and a man whose name I didn't catch) - they met me at the train station & walked me to the hotel, helped me with the AC when I couldn't figure it out & let me leave my bags after check out when I went to Machu Picchu. the hotel was very reasonable & breakfast was good. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to friends.
The hotel contacted me to offer to pick us up from the train station when we arrived, which that didn't happen. Once we finally made it to the hotel I told them we were looking for them and the receptionist brushed it off and simple said "We didn't make it because we were short staffed." We got to our room and my bed was full of hairs and the sheets were dirty. I did not unpack anything because I was scared there wou

Good enough for the price
Just a place to rest your head. Nothing special. Breakfast was was a simple one but it was constantly replentished. Service and staff were good.
great place to stay, clean, friendly people's work there. excellent ubication from the train station. the young boy at from desk have a great customer service, I really recomend this place to stay
Good value for the location. No frills, which was fine. Very bare bones. Decent breakfast, though! Kind and accommodating staff. No window in the room, which was a little claustrophobic for me, but I knew this when reserving.

Good hotel for the price
The hotel staff were very friendly. The location is about 5-10 minutes from the train station and bus stop, which is very convenient. The rooms were ok, we had 3 beds packed into a small space and the room seemed a bit musty. The shower was nice and had a lot of hot water. The breakfast was very basic and could’ve been better. They held our bags for us while we hiked. The hotel is a great price and it served its purpose.
Lots of character and a friendly staff. My first room required negotiating a steep stairway to reach the bathroom but I was moved the next morning. Both rooms were quiet, had wonderful views and plenty of hot water. Buffet breakfast and good wifi. No complaints.
Very pleasant, well maintained place to stay. We were allowed to check in an hour early and when we expressed dissatisfaction with the assigned room which had no window they moved us elsewhere immediately. We were provided with a decent packed lunch as we had to leave early to join the Machu Picchu queue.
Only gripe a bathroom sink with only cold water tap.
pretty basic accomodation which is what everyone is looking for as most people are just there for 1 day. Location isn't fantastic, as it's a bit of a walk from the bus and train locations, but it's fine overall
Would recommend. Great place to stay if you want to be away from the tourist section, yet close enough. Play futbol with the locals, buy a sweet from a street vendor, walk to the water falls. Bring earplugs as all Peru hotels tend to have thin walls and dogs do bark.
Check in great. The promised air conditioner did not work. No hot water second night but was fixed for our departure. Breakfast ok. Joyce was an excellent staff!
I knew what the offerings were in Aguas Calientes. Either super fancy and expensive or cheaper no frills places. This is one of the latter so my expectations were tempered. I’m sure the prices are high for what it is but overall, the staff are nice. My room didn’t have a window facing outside. The window faces the hallway. I did pass by one room with a window but it faced an alley with construction so it was just as well. They also have breakfast which is like a version of American Holiday Inn Express breakfast, serviceable but not that great. They do let you leave bags for the day so you can go to Machu Picchu and come back to pick them up before taking the train to Cusco. The hotel is also a 5 minute walk from the train station which is convenient. Employees were nice. Overall it’s what I expected.
Couldn’t have been more impressed with this place! The staff at the front desk was very helpful and also let us eat breakfast earlier than the start time of 5am so we could eat before catching the bus the Machu Picchu! The room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. Very happy with our stay!
This hotel is near to the bus station leaving to Machu Picchu and the train station. The hotel staff are very lovely and helpful. The morning breakfast is very basic but has what you need and they start early as well as offering to pack something if you leave before breakfast starts. The room has the basics included bottled water. There are tables and water and coffee and tea in the lobby all day.
Front desk personnel were very nice, especially because they made my daughter and I a "brown bag" breakfast when we left for Machu Picchu at 430am. Beds were comfortable. Water was hot. Walls were thin (we could hear a lot of noise throughout the hotel). Walls were also rather dirty. But overall, it was a good stay (1 night) and provided xlnt value for the $.
We stayed one night before going th Machu Picchu and it was perfect, the owner prepared our breakfast in bags so we could take it and be early in the bus station.
A great price, especially given how expensive AC can be. Beds were comfortable, water was hot, and breakfast was adequate. Check-in was unnecessarily long, but that is typical in Latin America.
Andino is a clear and safe bet for a single night spent before heading up to MP. They were nice enough to show up to pick up from the railway station even though we hadn't sent them the details or asked them to. This is crazy important since phone GPS often drifts at those elevations and AC is mostly a town of narrow and similar looking paths.
They had breakfast prompt by 5 AM and delivered well in every way possible. Would have been better if they had late checkout (even if they charged extra for it) as we were back by 12 PM from MP and our train back to Cusco wasn't until in the evening.
Very well located !
Great service Nice and helpful.
Little breakfast...
The hotel has her own caracter.
Unfortunatelly our mattress was old and uncorfotable...
Heating in the room if you need and lots of blankets....
I would go back .Great price for this area...
This is a basic hotel in a town where few spend more than one night. It's fine as a place to sleep before the early bus to Machu Picchu. No windows in the rooms. Clean, nice owner.
close to train station, great shower, clean room, good breakfast. the innkeeper (owner?) called a private guide who came to hotel and went to Machu Picchu with us.
we were on first floor and transom over door lets in some light, but not too bad, we still slept well.
excellent value for this price range.
Very nice proprietor, cooperative, knowledgeable and compassionate. Room 205 had 2 nightstands, double bed, chair and table, and luggage stand. Nice toiletries and great mattress. Plenty of hot water and fairly quiet. Excellent breakfast with scrambled eggs, cereal, yogurt and real coffee.
This hotel is in the middle of busy street with close proximity to Rail station and few min to Main square and bus station. It is new and everything is clean. However, we stayed in the room with a glass wall floor to sealing that didn't provide any sound proofing. You can hear every step, every word, every cough... And on a top of that somebody had a loud party till 3:30 in the morning.
On the other hand the staff was very accommodating and helpful. So, if you are staying in one of the inside rooms, or on a quiet night, you should be fine.
I booked this hotel weeks before my trip and received a confirmation email. I turned up at hotel on my own in the evening to be told I have no room as hotel overbooked.
Great location. Similar to many of the middling choices in the area. Breakfast was just ok. Bed super firm but not in a good way. No exterior windows from our room. Staff was polite and helpful.
On the first day of my stay received a warm friendly greeting from the owner upon my arrival. My luggage was stored safely while I visited Machu Pichu. I had laundry done and and ate at a delicious inexpensive restaurant close-by. After I returned from my second day tour I sat down on a bench next to a lady who owns a Peruvian dog ( A unique Race endemic to Peru). When I got up I inadvertently stepped on his tail and he bit me. the owner Franklin and his sister in law expertly rendered first aid. When I got up the next day I realized that due to my harried experience from the day before that I had forgotten to pick up my laundry. My train back to Cuzco left at 8:00 AM and the laundry would not open until 9;00 AM.
Diana and her husband reassured me that they would send me my clothing on the next train to Cuzco and that it would be delivered to me personally at my hotel. True to their word Franklin and his wife delivered the articles to me at my hotel at 6:30 PM (His picture is included in this revue).
I was treated warmly and with great diligence. My most heartfelt thanks to Diana, Franklin, and Joselo. You would be hard pressed to fin a better place to stay in Aguas Calientes.

gracias por su comentario estamos muy contentos por su estancia en ANDINO HOTEL
This hotel has a great location and wonderful staff. However, rooms are built around an interior corridor, with windows opening only onto the corridor itself. Hence, you hear everything going on in other rooms. There were super noisy German tourists clamboring around, getting ready early in the morning, to go to Machu Picchu. It was hard to sleep at night.
