Check in and out was simple, parking valet was great, & the front desk was professional. The room was clean, nice, great bed& amenities. The center garden area was quaint with a nice restaurant. Convenient location to many tourist attractions, we went to a concert at the Troubadour which was a 5 minute walk away. The only negative was the housekeeping staff was very loud on Sunday morning starting at 8am so we were woken up early to banging around and very loud voices. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

Our first room had shower had slow dripping and splashing water all over bathroom floor, was very noisy from foot traffic and AC didn’t work. Our first night. Our second room had a funky showering water noise that felt really loud at night when all was quiet. No rain outside. Our second night. We checked out at 5am on our check out day. Manager, Veronica, told us to look for another hotel. She gave us 1 night credit though. But we think this hotel was really worth half of what we paid. We had good luck with Sonder before but this experience made us think twice before we book their property next time.

This is my second time staying here. It’s closeness enough to UCLA where my daughter attends school. I like the location and prices. But this time I had a few issues. One, the room smelled bad. Second, the shower did not get hot. Third, the sheets had stains.

We’ve stayed here before and it’s changed. When we arrived at 4p, which is check-in time, the hotel employee walked away from the desk and we had to wait until 4:30 to check in after a 6 hour drive. I tried to call sonder to be remotely let in to my room and they transferred me to the hotel saying they couldn’t. Then they put us in room 12, under the staircase. We heard stomping and stepping all night and all morning. We paid for valet parking and the valet was not there in the morning forcing us to maneuver our car out in the morning through tight parking when we left. This place is a rip-off there are better places to stay.
