Excellent and affordable place to stay on Venice Beach. We had no issues. If you want a nice, clean, safe place to stay with free parking that allows you to spend more money on other things, I'd highly recommend it!

Great location and view. Courteous staff, free parking, room was reasonably clean. But, outside of the lobby it was run down and poorly maintained. The bathroom had paint splattered in some areas and spots where paint had flaked off. Toilet paper holder showed gap in drywall. Funky, poorly painted crown molding on the walls, etc. This place has huge potential but the rooms need a major upgrade.

This hotel is definitely older and could be updated, but clean. It was a decent price for the area and was adequate for our needs this weekend. The staff is friendly. The Saturday farmers market was excellent and only a 3 minute walk from the Foghorn.

Very simple, small two-story hotel. One side has patios and balconies facing the harbor, while the other side faces Via Marina. There’s no restaurant on the property, but there are plenty of food options nearby. There’s also a small “beach” area you can use, and the location is very walkable. Our room was dated but clean, with a nice balcony and comfortable beds. Free parking is definitely a plus, and they’re pet-friendly—even for large dogs, which is great. One thing to know: the front desk closes for a meal break, and they disappear until they’re done 😩😁, so don’t expect someone to always be available. Overall, if you’re the type of person who likes to spend a lot of time inside the hotel enjoying the property and amenities, this probably isn’t the place for you. But if you mainly want a clean, comfortable, reasonably located place to sleep while you’re out enjoying the area, then yes—you can definitely stay here.
