"My recent stay at The Orchard Hotel in Nottingham was exceptional in every sense. Having stayed here before and enjoyed such a fantastic experience, I chose to return — and once again, it proved to be the right decision. When travelling, the hotel you choose matters. A superb hotel adds greatly to your day, gives you confidence, and helps you deliver successfully in your tasks. The Orchard does exactly that. The staff were outstanding — attentive, professional, and genuinely willing to go above and beyond when needed. In some hotels, service can feel divided, but here I felt fully valued and looked after throughout my stay. The room was excellent and felt like a real upgrade from my previous visit — spacious, comfortable, and finished to a very high standard. The food was also amazing: beautifully presented, carefully prepared, and of excellent quality. Everything — the staff, the location, the food, and the room — was exceptional. Although there was some noise from the room next door, it did not take away from what was otherwise an excellent stay. I highly recommend The Orchard Hotel to anyone visiting Nottingham. "Perfect location "

"Handy location and rooms are fine. Reception staff friendly, welcoming and a pleasure. Night staff on bar told us no food available as the pizza oven was broken, no drinks after 2:30 am as bar was closing (despite reception, telling us it’s open 24 hours for residents), had to charge the drinks to our room and not able to pay for them as we were also told the till was broken, then aggressively told we had to clear out at 3am as they had to setup for breakfast Upon checkout reception confirmed all of this was in fact lies and obviously the staff just didn’t want to do any work"

"Was told the original room we booked (superior) wasn’t available so they upgraded us to another room, I don’t see how our room was an upgrade with a view, a view of the car park out of one window. Bathroom was very tired looking and dirty in places. My experience at the spa was a joke and one I wouldn’t want to be repeated. "

"This is an immaculately clean, functional hotel with no frills, which met all of our needs and served us very well. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We stayed 2 nights and the room wasn’t serviced in that period - something to be aware of - but fresh towels etc are available on request. Staff were excellent throughout. Parking was plentiful and was an extra charge ( £5 per night) - entirely reasonable. All in all, outstanding value for money and would definitely stay there again. "

"Bed not wide enough for the headboard so couldnt reach light switches"

"Even though I booked a single room it still felt very small considering what I'd been charged and the bathroom was tiny. Bedroom had no window so felt a bit like a prison. Bathroom window had a blind but no blackout curtain, and the bathroom door had a window, so light from outside streamed into bedroom and woke me up earlier than I'd planned. Had to put towel over bathroom door to block out light. Not enough room to hang clothes in wardrobe because there was a fan and an ironing board in the way. Bed was comfortable, had an undisturbed night sleep, however could hear music through the walls or ceiling from around 8, either from other guests or I think the cleaners must have started early. Breakfast was unremarkable, coffee in cafetiere had gone cold, and they'd run out of fruit and hadn't replenished it. No choice of pastries, just croissant. A very nice lady brought me a fresh coffee from the bar."
