"Susan is an excellent host. Unobtrusive, but there when needed and nothing is too much trouble. She also provides an excellent and varied breakfast. Although in the middle of the village, the property is private and secure. Our room was comfortable and lacked nothing. It was also warm as the temperature dropped below freezing outside. "Can't review hotel as never actually stayed there as they relocated us to another hotel saying it would meet our booking which was family room for 2 and breakfast, what we got was a single room with double bed and no breakfast, so spent weekend sleeping with my 40year old daughter with no breakfast not what was planned. They did refund £20 which was used for taxis because it was so far from where we needed to be."

"It had everything we needed. Bed was comfy. Bedding and towels were clean. There was a shelf unit that was about to collapse and the blinds were knackered and discoloured.
