All rooms are absolute waterfront. We had an apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. The local super market is very close so we self catered breakfast and dinner for our entire stay.

Spacious, clean, comfortable, well designed, especially the bathroom: 3 people can use the toilet, the washbasin and the shower at the same time in complete privacy, very convenient for family. Well done and Thank you to Paynesville HP!

After booking it last minute I had a friend cancel coming and was quite disappointed, but upon arrival and seeing how beautiful it was I knew we were meant to be there. We really could not fault either Paynesville or Captains Cover Resort both exceeded our expectations. The apartment is modern, well appointed and spotlessly clean. It is a short walk into Paynesville proper and the ferry to Raymond Island and our walk among the koalas. Bairnsdale Golf Course was a short distance from the resort and a pleasure to play.

You are treated to private quarters in their own home so you won't feel like you are staying in accomodation meant for travellers. Especially love the shower and their bed. They put your comfort foremost and it's these small details that makes all the difference. Very clean room, comfortable bed, mini bar is not exorbitantly priced and has sufficient for two people. Restaurant for dinner & breakfast again is very reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly & welcoming. Our overall stay was excellent & would definitely stay again.

Not many motels can offer a lock up facility for the car and trailer when we towed a vintage car for a rally. Was worried it could be noisy as on the main road but very quiet. Even the AC and fridge were quiet. Lovely bed and sheets. Fantastic fluffy towels. The place has been recently refurbished. We shall stay again. Thx Ray.

Either I stayed in a different room to the one photographed, or the photographs need to be updated. The room we stayed in was far better than expected. The room is very well appointed with plenty of space and it is clear that the property is immaculately maintained. I'd definitely stay again and hopefully will have more than one night too.

This motel is perfectly situated in Metung. It’s close to the waterfront, walking paths, the pub, store and other shops. The rooms are spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It was handy to have a kitchenette which contained everything I needed. Would recommend Metung Waters - it’s also reasonably priced.

Large bathroom and bedroom. Older style motel but very comfortable. Very friendly staff. Complementary Breakfasts were great. Great location opposite the water.

The cabins are spacious, well equipped and very clean and inviting. The grounds are also lovely and we had beautiful weather so made great use of the pool. We have stayed at other accommodation in the area and found this to be excellent value for money.

Lovely place to stay, it was peaceful and quiet. The cabin was very clean. I enjoyed doing the walks nearby the accommodation.

Very helpful manager, quiet location - been though it was on the main road - and easy to find. It was great finding the car windscreen had been cleaned in the morning!
