"If you haven't stayed there ... it's a must"

"We recently stayed at the Mountain Heritage Hotel and unfortunately our experience was quite disappointing, particularly given the expectations set by the property. We booked the corner suite, which was advertised as a premium offering, however the room was not well maintained. The “jetted tub” appeared unclean, as though it hadn’t been properly serviced in some time. The fridge was not functioning, and amenities listed in the property details, such as slippers, were not provided. While the room itself has an older style, it felt neglected rather than charming, and overall cleanliness was lacking. The carpet also seemed poorly maintained, with noticeable dust affecting comfort. Service at breakfast was another letdown. I waited approximately 30 minutes for a coffee, during which time the barista/bartender served another guest and proceeded to make a cocktail without acknowledging me at all. A simple acknowledgement would have gone a long way. That said, the property itself is beautiful and the views from the restaurant are genuinely stunning, which was a highlight of our stay. Overall, while the location and setting are impressive, the cleanliness, maintenance, and service fell well below expectations and need significant improvement. Will not be staying here again."

"Everything about this hotel was spectacular right down to the staff and amenties such a beautiful location if i didn't already have a wedding location sorted I would 100% chose the Crowne Plaza 10/10 definitely would recommend to my family and friends and would come back and stay again loved loved loved my stay"

"This is the perfect place to unwind in style and enjoy a bit of luxury on a budget. We loved the hot tub, gorgeous gardens, tennis court, and having fine dining on site was an unexpected bonus. Truly, you have to eat at the restaurant, it is next level. The staff are super friendly and even let my husband into our room hours before check in so he could work while he waited for me to arrive. We will be back!"

"It was by far the most charming place we've ever stayed in. AND just across the street from the train station (noise not a problem) so very convenient with luggage. Their breakfast buffet (not included but very reasonably priced) was good and plentiful. Around the corner from bus stops, with many local eateries within a couple blocks. Had a game room with pool table, library, bar, just can't say enough nice things about it."
