"We booked same day and had a room on the second floor with a king bed and balcony view right over the water! A beautiful view & the sound of the ocean was incredible to sleep to. Quiet cleaning service in the morning that doesn’t start until around 8:30-9am. For an older building, it’s well taken care of and very clean. Close to downtown Hilo, but fairly secluded from city traffic. Will definitely stay again! "

"We love the central location in Hilo to everything. We also love that the kitchen has everything we need to cook and eat in. Also the entrance was easy to navigate with a lot of luggage. They have luggage carts and grocery carts to use after you get your groceries. The place was wonderful. We will stay again when we go back in December. Many Mahalos!"

"The host is very friendly and communicative, and check in was easy. This is an older building, less glossy than a resort, but the units are large, the location is great, and price is right, including no parking fees which is awesome for Hawaii! The view from the lanais is of town, not the lagoon, but the unit is directly over the koi pond and it was fun watching them. The beds were very comfortable, wifi and AC worked well. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Terry is extremely responsive and gracious. The corner unit is bright, full of natural light, and as described in the listing. The view is fantastic, the overhead fans are a plus - we never used the air conditioner. The kitchen is well stocked, too. I’d gladly stay there in the future! "

"We wanted something where we could walk to town. It was convenient and we got the exercise we wanted. The patio looks out on the lagoon and beautiful park.The unit was clean. We used the laundry facilities. It was a great week for us."
