"We stayed one night. In 350 meters you can be in the medieval city. Travel 50 meters down the hill, turn on the path and you are there. Such a perfect location. Paul was great and easy to communicate with. We had a lovely dinner at the Sarl le Creneau and saw Remparts et Lumieres at night. We had a wonderful day exploring the village during the day. "The property is typical french quirky and generally enjoyable - since the house is 17th century we can forgive the dim lights and basic electrics. The sewage issue (day 2) was sorted very quickly - this can happen anytime and communications with the manager were very quick. The excellent Comptoir restaurant next door (book ahead) is a real bonus and the boulangerie and convenience store were great too.
