Positioned next to 10th century ruins and belltower, the village offers all of the basic amenities, including a community pool and epicerie, boulangerie, and the nearby town of Trebes has additional restaurants, supermarkets and shops to explore.

With a bright and comfortable living/dining area with TV and wifi, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and WC, sleeping 4-5, Le Bijou has all the amenities you need to make your holiday comfortable. Capendu is conveniently located 15 minutes from Carcassonne and it's airport (budget flights from the UK and other European cities) and train station (with trains to Barcelona and Paris). The international airport of Toulouse is 70 minutes drive away. The beautiful city of Narbonne and the Mediterranean is 30 minutes away, and the spectacular Cathar sites and wine region of the Languedoc Roussillon region are all within a short drive.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the Canal du Midi and the Aude River are a short 2km walk away, and mountain biking and hiking trails are close by. Lac Jouarre, offering swimming, is within a short drive from Capendu.
