"Even though the staff was very polite and service oriented the building was old, the showers and bathrooms were community showers and bathrooms in each floor. In the shower the handles had mold. When anyone in the building open a faucet, flushed the toilet or showered you could hear it in the dinning room area located in the basement. "This is not a 4 star hotel as rated online. The bed was completely saggy on both sides, the pillows were quite firm and chosen for people with broad shoulders, very puffy. I asked for a different pillow and was told that there is only one type of pillow in the hotel. The push window opened, but there was no way to close it again. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a plane was landing in there... I asked for a quiet room, and they delivered on that. The people at the front desk were courteous and respectful. The towels were clean. Not certain the the carpet had been vacuumed between guests. I didn't eat breakfast, so can't comment."

"Ice machine out of ice not working,Handi capped person had to go to another floor personally was great for checking in and check out ,check in is 3 pm sharp not a minute early check out is 11 am not a minute later strick love the hotel we stay here alot price in fair and I totally recommend this hotel for central jersey"

"Parking was good. Pool was closed for maintenance. No phones in room to call front desk for house keeping. Ice machine is outside near the pool. Mini fridge didn’t work. Beautiful views. Coffee was free but food you had to purchase. All Staff are young and should be retrained on what the number guests should call if there are any insures. Front desk was empty majority of the day with a sign stations call Lindsay and a number. House keeping comes in at 9am and will open the door if you don’t answer on the fifth time cause you’re sleeping. Not much amenities provided. Views are immaculate and surrounding area has good food and people. Hotel staff just need to be retrained and be more professional and know answers to basic questions. A phone would in all rooms and ice machines on every floor would be great. 7/10"

"Very accessible to N and D train on 8th ave. The only thing I would say is that the bed could use a thicker blanket, other than that it was a nice stay. Lots of shops, fresh produce, fish and hot food nearby. Breakfast at the hotel was a decent spread. Glad we found this spot."

"The room I originally checked into had trash in it, and reeked of marijuana, like someone just left before I arrived. In between bed n floor looked nasty upon check in, no one told me of anything like is breakfast or coffee available and i was spending 2 nights. Dogs barking loud off and on I am never coming back to this location or booking at Sonesta again !!!!"
