It’s very close to Gion station and the Main Street. The hostel was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. If you don’t want to keep your bags in the rooms you can leave them downstairs in an area that is secured by cameras. I recommend staying here if you want to be close to Yasaka shrine, Kiyomizudera, Kodaiji temple, and Kenin Ji Temple. Even the popular restaurant Kichi Kichi omurice and bars are a 10 min walk away.

Loved this place. Super friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, great location in Gion, nice communal area to meet fellow travelers. Would definitely stay again next time I'm in Kyoto.

Amazing place, location and service
If there’s space, book this place, you will love it! Traveling with a family of 5 we booked a private room for 4 nights. Room was clean and spacious. The place is located one step away from the train station and the beautiful historical district of Gion, super close to the action but still located in a quiet street. Location is so great that we even saw Geishas on the very first day whilst walking around. There’s a convenience store across the street and is walking distance from restaurants and main sightseeing spots. WiFi in the room worked perfectly and the staff were very helpful and nice. This has definitely been one of the best places we’ve stayed during our 15 day trip through Japan. A couple of hiccups, the private rooms are located on the ground floor next to the reception so it can be a bit noisy if there’s people speaking loud at the lobby or the TV is on, but in general everyone is very mindful of the noise. Also, although there was a curtain trying to block it, having the light of the WiFi router flashing during the night in the room was annoying. But these were small things compared to the overall stay. We’d definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Stay at the Gion Area
The hostel has a great Japanese style interior that is complemented with lots of amenities and facilities for you to enjoy a wonderful stay. I really liked the comfy beds and tatami interior too. Couple that with the friendly staff, the hostel is a great choice for exploring in the Gion area.

This place is beautiful, close to all Gion has to offer. The beds are comfortable, staff is friendly and it has this lovely traditional Japanese feel to it. Highly recommended!

Die Lage der Unterkunft war super und das Personal nett. Ich finde schade, dass es keine Möglichkeit gibt, seinen Koffer vernünftig zu verstauen. Der Schlafsaal steht voll mot Gepäck. Auch finde ich den Duschraum etwas klein für so viele Personen. Alles in allem dennoch eine gute Unterkunft :-)

교토에 있는 도미토리입니다.
평이 좋아서 숙박했는데 저는 도미토리 성향이 아니어서 그런지 딱히 좋은 느낌은 받지 못했습니다. 배낭족들이 본인 침대 옆에 배낭을 두었는데 큼직한 짐이 널부러져 있는게 보기 불편했어요. 그래도 코를 고는 사람은 없어서 그 점은 만족했습니다. 직원이 영어를 잘 하지 못해 체크인 시 일부 불편함이 있었습니다. 1회 용품에 대해 비용을 받고 있으니 참고하면 좋을 듯합니다.

清掃が行き届いていました。ベッドの枠組みが木製で落ち着けました。スタッフさんの対応もよく、ホステルは初めての利用でしたが、気持ちよく過ごせたので安心できました（枕元に簡易ですがセーフティボックスアリ）。また来ようと思います（50代女性）。

通りから少し奥にあるので最初は探すと思いますが、それを承知で予約するのであれば大丈夫！探せばすぐに見つかりますよ。近所のローソンは、スーパーよりもお安いと思いましたさし、地下鉄からも割と近いです。タオルも毎日変えてくれましたよ。

テレビがありました。

立地が奥まってわかりにくく、夜は周辺に店がないため暗くて、女性ひとりでは怖い。 コンビニが離れているので、夜には買い物に出づらい。 施設は新しくて、清潔で良かった。 シャワールームの数は十分で、女性専用パウダールームもあって良かった。 バスタオル、フェイスタオル、歯ブラシのサービスもあり、ドライヤーや、パウダールームにはヘアアイロンもあるので便利。 今回はミックスドミトリーしか空きがなかったが、女性専用ドミトリーもあるので安心感がある。
