The property is also located a little away from the busy part of Ali’i drive, which makes it great to relax at the end of the day after a day full of activities but is conveniently located near beaches and grocery/convenient stores. I highly recommend the property to anyone planning a trip to Kona."

"My husband and I stayed here for 4 days -the condo was in a great location and was well stocked with stuff for the beach. The bed was comfortable but it did get a bit hot and stuffy without AC….after a day we got more use to the heat. The roof top deck was great and my husband swam in the pool. It was nice to stay in a neighborhood and be able to walk everywhere. Would definitely stay here again."

"The condo is decorated nicely and located near restaurants and shopping area. The host answered us promptly with questions and addressing concern/issue. "This was our second time staying at the Kona Castle Reef . This oceanfront unit was comfortable, tidy and an excellent layout. Some of the lighting fixtures seemed dated and Could use replacement . Having the bbq’s there as an alternative cooking option was fantastic. We can’t wait to visit again next year and hopefully secure the same unit as we did this time ."

We were thrilled that it is still the unique, wonderful place it always was, but a lot more luxurious. The hales are very comfortable and quiet. The bathrooms are huge and include an outdoor shower that we used every day. The staff is amazing, friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed all of the dining options and only went off property to the hotel next door for one dinner. We're already trying to figure out when we can return. We can't imagine stying at any other hotel on the big island!"
