"The hotel had a nice vibe from the second we walked in. Awesome bakery in the lobby with a wide assortment of options. The roof top lounge also had a cool atmosphere. Heaters for cooler weather. Bar and food options. The rooms were clean and spacious compared to other places I have stayed in Japan. The location was perfect. Easy walk to temples, the Gion district, and to the vibrant Pontocho area. 0.8-1.4 mile walks. The hotel is also on a main road so grabbing Uber or taxis was easy. We will definitely stay here again!!"

The staff are very polite, and answer any questions you have. The room itself was slightly small, but big enough if you’re a solo traveller. I very much enjoyed my stay. "
