Search Irura hotels

The best time to visit Irura, and indeed the wider Basque Country, is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.

These periods offer pleasant weather, with mild temperatures and less rainfall than the winter. You'll find the countryside lush and green in spring, great for outdoor activities like hiking or exploring the nearby coast. Autumn brings comfortable temperatures and the chance to experience local harvest festivals.

For families, the summer months (July and August) can also be a good option, especially if you're planning to combine your visit with time at the coast. While it can be warmer and busier, the longer daylight hours allow for more exploration, and many local events and festivals take place during this time.
