"I can’t imagine finding a more iconic, historic cottage on its own private piece of paradise anywhere else in Ireland! If you love character, authenticity, the sea, & a peaceful, private setting, this is the place for you!Our adult children loved it as well & we were able to take the DART (the easiest way!) into Dublin a couple times during our week’s stay to enjoy city life & see the sights. Other days/nights were spent making a couple dinners, playing euchre or cribbage by the fire, laughing...

"We travelled from the states to stay at this lovely home. Bernie, the host, was the most amazing and welcoming person. She was quick to reply and went above and beyond in every way to ensure we had the best trip possible. "Maginstown house is perfect for large family groups. It is beautifully quiet and yet in easy reach of lots of interesting towns, cities and countryside. The house is brilliantly equipped with everything you could possibly need, including of basic kitchen staples. Nicholas is an excellent, thoughtful host for whom nothing is too much trouble. A gem of a place! "

"Although this home is about 15 minutes from the town of Killarney, the Irish farm experience is what we were looking for- & this home delivered. The house was clean & large enough for our party of 7 adults. My only recommendation to the owner would be to replace or add bed pillows & to include more towels (at least 1 bath towel per person). An outside table & chairs would have enhanced the experience. The patio overlooking the farm was really nice, but there was nothing to sit on out there....

"The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the arrivals terminal and an 8 minute walk from the departure terminal, but the hotel as a shuttle if you prefer that. The hotel is beautiful, my room was very large, and they had the best breakfast buffet I encountered on my 15 day trip to Ireland and the UK."
